how to make my saiga 7.62 look aged
CroCopitateya replied to m1911a1-Blackhawk's topic in Saiga Rifle Conversions
I've heard of people using baking soda. -
The trigger is terrible. Just convert it and use a tapco single hook g2 trigger. I buy the non modified ones since I don't use the BHO.
-
On rare occasions. (Sarcasm)

The chick at sportsman guide told me 5.45 ammo was discontinued from their supplier and the next week it went back in stock. Maybe someone just doesn't know what they're talking about.
-
Did it require a hole or a notch in the barrel?
-
What handguard retainer did you use?
-
Me neither, I'm going to scope my 74 tho. First rifle ill have ever scoped. PA 1-4 x24 scope should do the trick for good all around shooting.
-
Definitely make it a folder I like your gun a lot. No optics?
-
Yep. I never did do the handguard conversion on the 7.62 saiga but I'm going to on this one. I should've bought an IZ340 but oh we'll. more gun for me I guess.

Was just going to mount it on a quadrail after I did the front conversion. How I had my wasr and it was solid.

my thoughts exactly. Ak action is so simple. However if you plan on reloading, the ak action isn't really your friend. Tears up brass and slings it for a while. The mini, not so much but still. Honestly I feel that anything other than an ar in .223 is counter productive.

Sent him a PM. Thanks for the heads up man.

That's why I want to do the whole micro dot on the gas tube deal. For a battle rifle ill be happy with fist sized groups at 100 yards. Nice avatar by the way.
