  1. Got some Cerakote put on mine. I like the gun simple, light, and small.
  2. If there is a chance you are moving again in a year or two back to a gun friendly state you might consider leaving it with an NFA dealer until then. If it is registered to you as an individual I think that is your only option. If it is registered to a trust you could leave it with another trustee in a gun friendly state.
  3. This stock has an internal spring and piston that reduce felt recoil. Not to mention a super soft recoil pad. I'll consider all offers.
  4. $50.00 shipped. Cross-Posted on another forum. I will update as soon as possible if this is bought elsewhere. I'll accept Paypal +3% or USPS money order. I have a Phoenix Kicklite stock for a converted Saiga 12. This stock is used. I bought it new and had it on my Saiga 12 for awhile. I decided to go with the more traditional AK furniture so I am selling this. It works perfectly. Very minor cosmetic blemishes only if anything. Comes with 2 installation screws that I bought it with.
  5. Shot 1000's of shells left handed with that brake and never noticed any odd recoil. The slots being larger on the right side never seemed to push it left at all.
  6. I had to do a bit of fitting on the hogue grips I have installed. I have never had a problem with the hogue grips and I love them. I have handled them roughly, put lots of force on them from different directions and shot the gun one handed just holding the grip. Works great. If you have finished the conversion now, you should post pictures.
  7. Having this problem right now. I had a form 1 in draft and it gives me the option to submit but then wont do it. I'm stuck on the password screen aftwr paying. I'm thinking it might not work to submit it until it shows form 1's available to fill out on the home screen.
  8. I have done exactly what Cobra described. An easy way to fill the 2 left over holes is with the plastic plugs that Carolina Shooter's Supply sells with their conversion kits.
  9. I filled one out last month on the eforms system and I remember finding the Saiga 12 in their list of firearms on record. I think you should look back through the list and make sure you picked the correct maker and country. In the description just put something like. "Semi-Automatic shotgun." I always put, "To enhance my collection for all lawful purposes." in the state why you intend to make firearm field.
  10. This is genius. I would think they would kick like crazy, but it sounds like a lot of fun.
  11. I went out and shot it again in lower light. This is a fast drum dump. Then I shot some 1 oz winchester 1600 fps slugs.
  12. You can cut off the plastic extension for the pistol grip of the kicklite and it will work, and look fine. The BHO is not that hard to reinstall. I can do it in about 30 seconds. Just takes some practice to learn the right technique.
  13. If you only are going to use one choke I would put a modified on.
  14. I tried a kicklite stock one time and it always loosened up also. I would go with the hogue grip and the G2 trigger group that you mentioned. Just get a regular ak buttstock and put a rubber pad on it. It will be simple.
