  1. He got 1 done for the biggest D-bag on here (besides me). How many months did that take? At the rate he's going, if he does have my parts, after the nasty words I've had for him, I'm guessing I'll get my saiga put back together in 10 years. Nice.
  2. Actually, I have a good enough time with my couple of shotguns and several pistols, was a Navy diver, (briefly) and was in the Army reserves for 8 years, so chew that. I just really don't get why you mourn someone who has done the free world such hurt. How about if you just stick to the subject and answer the question without the personal attacks? I think the AK platform is awesome, which is why I have the Saiga and spent the money to upgrade it a bit. Also, I like the Volkswagen, but hate Hitler, who commissioned it...
  3. Respects? Sorry, I don't get it. Yeah, he made an incredible weapon. But how many American soldiers, from Vietnam onward, have been killed or maimed by it? How many people around the world, civilians and military, have been killed by it? Every thug in the third world uses it to terrorize and kill innocents. Sorry, but I would spit on his grave for my friends killed in Viet Nam by his guns. Gabriel

  5. Good news for you. Will try to get communication from Pauly for shipping directions on my set. Email him on the original email site you ordered from. Is that his gmail account (I've tried that a few times)? Because I ordered from this site with a PM. I'm glad you got your stuff back...I hope more of us have the same luck. paulyski@gmail.com

  7. Well, the good news is that I got the parts from Paul today, all shined up and slicked like he promised. He delivered. Beforehand, several times, I emailed him and was as polite as possible, reminding him of my serial number. He emailed back with the label directions which I did, and low and be-freakin' hold, they arrived today. February until now, serial number 348. Good luck ya'll.
  8. Got an email from him and active tracking from USPS. The item was dropped in Salem, shipped to and departed from Portland. His email describes what he found with my parts, what he did to them, and how to install and test in the gun. Looks like parts number #348 are on the way home. He printed out my label but had to buy a new ink cartridge first. As Maverick said in Top Gun, "it's looking good so far."
  9. Almost verbatim, that is what he wrote to me a week ago. I sent him a label on Monday. Dead silence again. Tracking shows no action.
  10. No response, yet. I think USPS labels expire after a few days. I hope I didn't waste $18 on this.
  11. Received an email from him. Said my parts are finished and, on his suggestion, sent a USPS email label to put on package to send back to me. Do not know if he received email or not. No other communication.
  12. Has "the near future" arrived for bolts? It doesn't make sense for some of us to buy the carrier without the bolt. Gabriel
  13. It is noteworthy that for all the problems we've had, there is not one negative comment about Pauly's Steelin' on the Feedback section of the Forum.
  14. What good is the bolt without the carrier? We appreciate your work, but one without the other still leaves the gun inoperable. Plus, some of us gave him the trigger group assembly... Any chance of also doing the carrier? You may have a captive group here so you would be assured a nice minimum order. Whatcha think?
  15. I think you perfectly reflect the feelings we all have, just stated a little more directly... I have $1200 invested in my Saiga along with numerous magazines of all kinds. I think we're all just peeing into the wind with this Forum. It makes us feel good to post here until, one by one, we give up and walk away. We maintain hope that there will be a miraculous cure and that we will all get our parts back. Who knows, lesser miracles have happened... Sorry to be so cheery. Happy freakin' New Year
  16. Any chance you asked him if anyone will get their parts back? With all the moving and drama, IF they are still in his possession, they are probably all thrown together in a box somewhere and hopelessly mixed up. In the recent post to me, he said he is selling his milling machine because he needs the money. I've not had any contact with Pauly in months. But for those who have...if you could find out what model machine he's selling, and how much he's asking for it. It's a long shot, but if the price is affordable, I'd be willing to drive out there and pay him for it. Assuming he's still
  17. Maybe this should be addressed in the policies (or maybe it already has) for advertisers on this forum. If there are a certain number of complaints, they should be placed on some sort of "probation", and not allowed to continue to advertise. I am not pointing the finger of blame at anyone in particular, but the complaints seemed to be pouring in well before Pauly was shut down here.... Moving forward - I hope everyone has learned something from this, it never happens again to the extent it has, the poor individuals get their parts back, and Pauly gets his life straightened out.! Hmmm..
  18. I think part of the problem for getting our parts back, finished or not, is that no one seems to know where either he or they are.

  20. 2 days ago I received a reply from him. He mentioned that he is very broke, unemployed, and that my part is finished. Period. I offered Forum help and money for shipping. No other response.
  21. Unfortunately, it seems like there may be 30-40 worthless Saiga - 12's for the New Year... Merry Christmas, ya'll.
  22. ... Interesting point. Surely someone on this list or a moderator must know him well enough to see if Paul is at least alive and well. Our negative comments are out of our frustrations and I like to think we would wish him well - and able to get back to work.
  23. I think we should start a new thread titled: Who Can Make The Best Excuses For Pauly"
