  1. "OH THAT? That was just the stuff to kill you, we forgot to buy the stuff to practice killing you. Funny story, needless to say our purchasing manager has been fired, but what are you gonna do. Do these chaps make my private army look fat?" -Janet
  2. It doesn't even matter. You're either going to fight or you're going to put your hands in the air. There's no 1/2 way, "Oh I'll fight for my rights if it's some brownshirt agency with M4's, but if it's the military with M4's I'm going to sit in a corner and cry..." C'mon now guys. ETA:
  3. Hold the phone guys, isn't the USAS-12 made in SK? You wouldn't want a piece of that?
  4. I'm not going to go there. I will make the right decision when/if the time comes and nothing more can be expected of me. The end.
  5. To vets, it's a big part of their lives and who they are. I don't shove it in people's faces to get brownie points myself, but I do have a lot of stories, and I like to tell them. 99% of the time they're irrelevant, just humorous (at least I think they are, you guys probably dont.) Like the time I quit smoking. I was in towelhead country, I saw a little light across the valley, go up 2 feet, flash, down two feet. I thought wtf was that? (It was about 3am, and I was wearing NOGs, back then they were really grainy even with the IR turned on, gen 2 I think) I saw it again about 10 seconds lat
  6. Don't you dare say my STI is from SK, Subaru is designed in japan and built in Indiana. How offensive.
  7. I had a KATUSA roommate when I was stationed at Hovey over there, we taught him how to ask the NCO's if he could use the restroom in english. His name was Lee and he was a good guy. "Chiff, I nidd to go drayin my weasal!"
  8. If you're going to be up by the Hoh river, dont shoot! It's me! I have enough jalepeno cheese packets to go around.
  9. Yeah, MRAPS, select fire weapons and 1.9 (yeah they just did another order for 300K+) billion rounds for a newly raised national army by a anti-gun party-appointed bull-dyke with a chip on her shoulder, who refuses to acknowledge any of these things, on our soil, making citizens into criminals overnight, compiling lists of veterans and libertarians as terrorists, is nothing to be concerned about. It's all puppies and rainbows am I right?
  10. The thing is, oddman, I'd like to give myself a head start, I do find that necessary and something I have impact on.
  11. They have the bomb AND we have a wide open border. ETA: South Korea has also lost track of 2 NK subs that departed from a NK port. Whos to say they didn't load them with spec-ops, a couple glowing suitcases and plan on docking in Mexico. Cartels would take $1000/ea to smuggle those guys over and it's a done deal.
  12. Consider this... NK is drawing attention to itself with China backing it to get the US war machine staged in East Asia. Meanwhile, Iran is able to complete the bomb within the diversion. Divide and conquer in the form of splitting the US into a total of FOUR wars, while BRICS then dumps the dollar, China refusing to buy worthless new bonds, leaving us unable to finance our offensive measures. The US will "blow it's wad" and we will then be unable to defend our homeland in a militaristic way. Disorder ensues due to the currency dump and resulting hyperinflation within our citizenry, DHS tri
  13. I have so many stories from when I was stationed over there just south of the border. Nightmare hill, Thunder Run's, turtle ditches, bali bali cabs, drinking girls, tracked vehicles hitting main gates, etc etc etc... But that fucker's dad, caused more alerts, getting me out of bed with a belly full of soju, and by extension pissing me the fuck off to the point that I want to see his whole family dead. As much fun as carrying a MK19 up and down a hill on your shoulder is, it loses it's novelty 1-3 times a week at 3AM let me tell you.
  14. Pic #1 look like a vagina to anyone else? No?... Yeah, uh, me neither.
  15. I'm concerned about the surplus cans (39/54R), can anyone tell me what might happen with those if this passes? You know, since they're all eastern block. Anyone have an idea?
  16. "Let me be clear, America will not hesitate to send a strongly worded letter through the appropriate 3rd party. Also, I say to my detractors, again, Michelle is just big boned. My detractors say, 'Mr. President, when is the last time you saw a fat skeleton?', let me be clear, the GOP is just being obstructionist."
  17. So, I have broadform anti-tyranny/criminal insurance. Now they are saying they want my insurance to have insurance? With my anti-tyranny/criminal insurance, the deductible is about $0.13 per claim, but it's gone up since December.
  18. OP, I have this exact setup. I really like it, the only thing was that I had to blu-loctite the castellated lock nut (which also requires an AR stock wrench to tighten BTW). It's comfy, especially with the scorpion grip. I used the CSS conversion kit and retainer plates. I also picked up an autoplug, aftermarket puck, light spring (for birdshot), and extended mag release from with CSS or MAA I can't remember which, I think it was a mix of the two companies. If you want pics I can send after I get home. ETA: Actually, here's a quickie from my phone, but I can take better ones later if
  19. Sorry man, I will call my reps. Even having a facebook profile is bad news, might as well hand your autobiography over to DHS and Feinstein. Good luck though!
  20. I'm not a big fan of their plastic handled ones, this one is my favorite: http://www.baryonyxknife.com/bumagr.html $10.50, that's an awesome little knife co. too. Family owned, great service, same day shipping if you order in the morning even if you choose the "special option" where they do some custom work to it. See here also: for a review
  21. The reason I mentioned Tramontina, is it's a work machete. It's not cool looking, it's not custom, but as a former surveyor I used them every day. I've had condors, I've had ontarios, and I've had no-name hardware store machetes, I've had tacticool cold steel (lasted about 2 days). But the brass tacks are, for me, I still own that 18" wood handled Tramontina. It still does it's job, everything else had broken or not lived up to my expectations. Your mileage may vary however. They're made in Brazil, there's a lot of jungle down there if ya catch my drift.
