It definitely should not have gotten worse id double check the directions on the gas knob sometimes they be little tricky I know I had to go over mine few times to get it rite and I live in md also havent taken my saiga to range yet I hope they allow me to shoot it . It is my favorite gun to shoot Also if you having trouble with fte you dont need the recoil buffer in that is not helping

I have the kvar handguard and yes there is enough room to drill sum holes and bolt in sum rails on the bottem and sides actually. Also I saw a thread on here few weeks ago wit same question

Why not you have perfected the 8in . The work you do is amazing (wish I had those skillzs )im sure you will have it working in notime so go for the challenge . I mean thats whats makes people happy to c how far you can take something and succeed so good luck in whatever you take on next. -

I have the same gun I would do what most said to do ,and what I did is take apart and lube it up nice. I had no issues wit mine with federal bulk on setting 2 with factory mag hopefully thata help ya out bud -

Well I have the 09 and I wld really like to get it right. So I have the md arms gas plug and us mag and the us handguard it comes with so i sld b at a 9 count rite? Also the md drum also counts as 3 also rite?
