  1. Ah nice, i didn't see that thread. Thanks for the enlightenment.
  2. That thread was on the AR application which is cool. And i definitely believe that when compared to other AR triggers it might have its downfalls. I was just seeing if anybody had tried the AK specific trigger. Which when compared to the modified G2 or Red Star Arms triggers that get used on almost all conversions is very different.
  3. So in my daily random internet browsing i came upon this trigger for AK's. Its definitely overpriced and i wouldn't want to go AR-15'ing my saigas but the curiosity struck me to see if anybody has tried one. Here's their website if anybody wants to look them up. https://tacconusa.com/products/view.php?id=41
  4. Hey Guys, I've been lurking the forums for a couple years and i was searching around the net looking for hats and whatnot and i noticed a severe lack of Saiga love out there as far as clothing goes. Theres the one T-shirt on the E-store that i saw. Are there plans for any other items? There was an oldddd thread from 2008 where there was some interest in stuff like embroidered hats, velcro patches, or screen printed stuff. Just curious if that thread produced any items somewhere that i may not have found while searching around. Cause i for one would rock a hat with the forum logo
  5. Hey guys, i was browsing around and came up on the Alliance Armament wraithmaker drums. Has anybody seen anything similar to the open design that wouldnt break the bank? I like the look of it but find it a bit steeply priced compared to other drums on the market. Not knocking the price due to the material factor and whatnot. Maybe i could mod a promag or md20 for a similar look.
  6. Thanks for the ideas guys, I ended up taking a jewelers file to the head of the bolt and i can cycle snap caps through it fine now. Now gotta wait till after Easter to try it out. Heh, and yeah, its definitely a disease. I bought a S12, then this 7.62. I'm already contemplating a 308 saiganov or a possible more traditional less tacticool build in a different caliber. The more i see some of ya'lls wooden furniture the more i second guess my decision to go the black everything with rails route.
  7. I elongated the hole on the guide a little due to i drilled the hole a little closer than required. The screw is bottomed out, i made sure it seated. Even before i installed it the screw head stuck up above the guide. The angle in the pic is bad also heh. I'll get some better ones tonight.
  8. I tried searching the forums for something similar to the issue i'm having but couldnt find it. The issue i'm pretty sure i have is that the screw head for the bullet guide isnt flush to the guide so the bolt carrier and bolt wont go into full battery. With no round in it, it locks and cycles fine. I just bought some snap caps and will get better pics of the issue. Has anybody seen this before? I think i'm just going to file down the bolt head. I attached some pics i took before i headed into work. As you can see the screw head is beat up and the rounds have a scratch on them from what

    Texas?

Del Valle here, right by the Austin Bergstrom.
  10. Hey man, i live here in Del Valle by Austin Bergstrom. There's a gunsmith off the 71 towards bastrop that does Saiga work mainly. If you're interested in somewhere thats close that is. Its called Brothers in Arms if you're ever curious.
