  1. How has Federal tactical low recoil w/ flight control wad worked in your S12? Any issues? Wondered about the low recoil part and cycling correctly. I cannot remember if TAP 00 buck is low recoil, but has anyone tried it in an S12? Thanks.
  2. So when is AGP going to have some more 10 rounders? Seemed like they used to be pumping these out pretty steady...and now they seem to be unavailable for some time. Whats the deal?
  3. Can anyone tell me what the length of the IZ109 is with the stock folded when it has been converted to have the Ace stock (barrel not shortened)? How about with the stock extended? Thank you.
  4. Thanks. I was really just wondering if there was a "standard" approach in the "industry." I am not prepared to specify which parts myself right now.
  5. Thanks...so do Tromix, Red Jacket and others all do the same type of compliance swap out when installing a US made pistol grip and stock (e.g. FCG)?
  6. I have read that Red Jacket and Tromix do conversions (although Tromix is more backed up at the moment). I may therefore send my unmodified S12 to Red Jacket for conversion to pistol grip and side folder Ace type set up. Does anyone know what parts beside the stock they will replace to have the resulting conversion be compliant with 922 etc.? Thank you.
  7. Is there a difference between these features? I have BHO, but it does not function as LRBHO and I guess that is because additional modifications need to be done rather than it is not working completely. (?) If they are different, how much is involved to go from BHO to LRBHO? Thank you.
  8. I saw that Tromix has a wait until 2009. Can you recommend any other vendors out there that do a good job on these? thanks!
  9. You can legally use the S12 out of the box with the factory 5-rd magazine. If you want to use larger capacity mags (like the AGP 10-rounders) then you will need to modify the gun to comply with 922R. An S12 with threaded barrel has 14 parts that count toward 922R -- so you need to replace at least 4 to be compliant. US mags (like AGP) count for 3. If you are going to do a conversion, you won't have any problems finding ways to meet compliance. The fire control group is 3 parts, and if you use US-made buttstock and pistol grip, they count as 1 part each. Jim Are you specifically add
  10. So if I understand correctly, adding one of these to a stock gun to put a light accessory on would not have changed the sporting nature of the stock gun, right? If you add a separate forward pistol grip on the fore end rail you have changed to a nonsporter. Correct?
  11. Thanks for working through that for me (us)! Much appreciated.
