  1. I got one, finally got around to taking it to the range today. Went with some slugs, some buck shot, and some bird shot # 6, 7, and 8. It cycled everything like a champ even when I decided to mix and match shells. Overall I'm very pleased, works as good if not better than my broken in and modified 433. I was only kind of annoyed at people asking me questions about it every 15 minutes, it's like let me shoot for crying out loud. After next paycheck I'm going to have a gunsmith replace the brake for me and I'll take more pics once I have it the way I want it.
  2. It's pinned, my gunsmith said he can take it off, I'm going to wait until I have some more disposable funds available. I'm going to swap the brake because the barrel is threaded and the brake is the only part of the gun I'm not feeling. Here is the welded on ring, it seems like it's very simple to remove
  3. New toy I just picked up. This is my first Vepr, I have a 433 from Legion USA, and I was browsing their website and came across this little beauty. Just unpacked it Put a spare 433 magazine I had lying around I did a little research before I picked this up, and I saw the Legion USA version was $50 more expensive than Atlantic, or Mississipi but it also has the railed hand guard, and railed gas block, and they have free shipping so when I factored it all in the choice was easy. I also ordered their 10 round mag. As always Alex is a pleasure to deal wi
  4. Yes the Vepr mags will work with the 433 with slight modification, Legion will also have a nice large new shipment of mags (factory magwell and rock and locks), rifles, and shotguns within the month. Including 10 round vepr mags that will work with the 433 with slight modification. The only thing you need to do to make the vepr mags work with the 433 is to trim the tab so that it clears the last round bolt hold open lever, and the magazine latch.
  5. Actually I have it on good intel that the Vepr 12 mags don't work on the Saiga 433 unless you do some slight modification to the rear tab and inside the body near the follower. Basically it has to clear the magazine latch and the LRBHO lever
  6. Legion has Vepr 8 rnd'ers and factory non magwell 8 rnd'ers. Also if you move the trigger group on your 433 you will have to modify the Vepr Mag to fit. Something about the top notch not interfacing well with the magwell lever
