So wait youre saying its threaded under it?? Awesome! Why is my Saiga seem to be the odd man out from most? Is it common for US manufactuers to put a threaded FSB on these? The rifle has "legion" stamped on it (from Florida).

So i just bought a converted saiga and i noticed this on the front site block. It looks like a cap welded to it? Could there be gold under it (threads)? Every pic ive seen doesnt have this style cap on it. I know from the thread below that everyone says they dont have threads however this one is converted. maybe they put a threaded fsb and welded the cap to comply? If nothing, has anyone threaded it for the 24mm brake its about an inch in diameter? I have a bulgarian brake and Id like to use it haha.
