  1. ??? You mean like 2 companies making brake shoes for a 82 Ford ? Who made it first ? Who cares, if they are going to work, how different can they be ? One company actually produces, sells and stands behind their product........the other just bitches about competition.
  2. I'd probably be down for 4-5 if the price was right. I haven't broken any yet but it's been in the back of my mind every time I drop or toss one.
  3. Barrel shroud? Isn't that the shoulder thing that goes up?
  4. Ok I think you need to work on a shell stop that DOESN'T need to be removed to be used as bottle opener. I'm kidding of course......booze after blasting as always.
  5. Oh yeah! I'll be picking up one in a large, along with a few other goodies. I should have a delivery for yall maybe Saturday. Monday at the latest. And tell Josh the Velcro idea worked perfect!
  6. Damn, That sucks Bro. Which watchtower would you like me to man?
  7. Im not worried about dropping shells when running, but rather sticking (or losing) the the top round into mud when kneeling, going prone, crawling, or some other crazy activity. We are in a drought so I've not seen mud in a while (but I don't miss it either). But I do see your point. However, going prone, crawling and some other crazy activities are no longer in my skill set (age 61 and counting). Something like that might be slightly iffy rounds down... It was bad enough rounds up That looks like a fun stage!
  8. Awesome! I'm glad you're happy with them!! Let me know if you know anybody needing one.
  9. Here's what I'm running. I'm Using T&N coupled mags but I could do one for Firebird mags. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/88112-my-new-kydex-dual-mag-carrier/
  10. Rem gun club & fed bulk runs fine here.
  11. Yep, just cheap bulk Federals.
  12. This is the only vid I've got. First day at the range getting the feel of it.
  13. Damn, I didn't realize you were into that sort of thing.
  14. I've also heard some of the old trap shooters used to put one wrap of teflon plumbers tape on the threads if they had one that worked loose.
  15. Mine did the same thing at first but after a bit of carbon build up and choke lube getting heated up they hold fine. Shoot it and don't be afraid to torque them down tight.
  16. Crack dealers! You two are no better than CRACK DEALERS in a room full of junkies!!
  17. Really? That's awesome! They should create a thread about it but I'm sure some prick would be along to trash it.
  18. Thanks Hunter308. I worked on 2 more this weekend for a couple buddies and added a pivot on the "leg strap" making it much more flexible. I need to order more material and punch out a few single mag carriers also. Still trying to speed up the process, the first one took me about 8 hours to finish but the next 2 only 4 hours each. Working on some templates to try and make each one more uniform but they are still made 100% by handforming so there will always be some difference between each one.
  19. You guys are like crack dealers, you know that right? Sounds like another upgrade I'm going to have to have.
  20. Those are Tooth & nail Couplers. This was a proto type but I'm going to try a few to refine the process/design a bit. Colors wouldn't be a problem as you can get kydex in almost any color or pattern.
  21. Been playing with some Kydex lately and I thought I'd share my latest project for 3 gun comps.
  22. I've never actually checked the threads when I installed one but I would guess they are a standard 1/4-20 thread. Again just guessing from the last time I built a rifle but that's what I would try first.
