  1. T & N built mine also and it eats Federal & Rem bulk like a fat kid eats birthday cake. Run it wet and break it in. I'm sure Matt or Josh will be along shortly.
  2. The way it sounds to me is that you need a choke with a longer "non-threaded" space at the bottom to fill the gap. Or like mentioned above maybe the threads needs cleaned out with a tap.
  3. I'm working on some myself. They take up a LOT of real estate on the body don't they?
  4. If the threads are flush on the inside I wouldn't worry about it. Unless she is just a beauty queen that sits in the safe until someone comes over.

    18 round mags

That would be great for certain 3 gun stages!
  6. Absolutly. I didn't get time to pattern it last weekend but I have to this weekend. Missouri Turkey season starts next week and I'm going to take this "Assault" shotgun to the woods.
  7. Sorry Hunter, I forgot about answering this until I was in the safe tonight. The product # is WC12GT655 (655 is the constriction of the choke) On the front of the package it is marked for Browning Invector, Mossberg 500 & 9200, Wichester.
  8. Yep, Live & learn. Keep livin' and you'll keep learnin'.
  9. Most of my 3 gun shooting (very limited to date) has been in short bays so Cylinder works fine. For those spinners, I carry a box of #6 shot (1300 fps). Remington managed recoil slugs seem to shoot the same in any of the chokes I have (CYL, LM & Full). Bill Yea, #6's would have been great had the match rules not been low brass 7-1/2's or smaller.
  10. I'd run a modified if the stage called for all three types of shells. I screwed a a stage over this weekend because of the wrong choke. I decided to go with improved to try to speed up my shots but when it came to the spinner target there just wasn't enough energy to get it to go 360 degrees. So I wasted a lot of time & got the failure to neutralize.
  11. I think I sold a level 10 forend for you today at Sparta 3gun I'm going to need a commission before long!
  12. Thanks for all the replies, I actually got to stop in at a Bass Pro & they had the Kicks choke I wanted in the Winchester threads. It fits perfect and looks a little Bad Ass too. Hopefully I'll get the chance to pattern it this weekend.
  13. guide rod, nut or both? I'd say BOTH , looking for a good nut/thumb wheel , whatever you want to call it, that will both hold tight , yet easily removable. Preferably WITHOUT tools. Somebody finds something that we end up using, it will be good for a FREE guide rod replacement We're looking at a couple options still need to do some testing though , now GET TO WORK These would be nice, but maybe a bit pricey http://www.carrlane.com/catalog/index.cfm/27825071F0B221118070C1C513E111D081B0006280B1713050245221E0107070F1A3C3B2853524155 21.00 each I would think something more lik
  14. Ha! I ran about 150 rounds last night. One of the mags needed a little more stretch to get that last round to pop up 100% but it worked.
  15. No wonder I couldn't figure it out. Thanks for the insight!
  16. Maybe I'm just really dense but this is the way I'm understanding it. This one will not fit? http://www.kicks-ind.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=Kicks&Product_Code=CAMOGTWIN67012G&Category_Code=CAMOGT This one will? http://www.kicks-ind.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=Kicks&Product_Code=GTWinchester12g&Category_Code=12GaugeGT Am I correct?
  17. I'm looking for a super full choke for my 1919 I've heard the Winchoke tubes will fit but from what I can tell there are several different winchester chokes out there. It looks like there's Winchester Invector, Winchester, Winchest SXS and a few others. I actually tried the chokes out of my old Winchester 1300 along with a Browning Invector that fits it, but they won't fit down the barrel of the 1919. So if I order a Kicks Gobblin Thunder for a Winchester will it fit?
  18. I had some issues with 2 out of 3 factory 10 rounders doing the same thing on the last shell. They would also skip a feed about mid way through the mag then double feed. I think I have the problem fixed but it involves some very technical tools................................ Take the spring out and grab both ends........Stretch the $%^ out of it........put it back in & go run it. I tried this with my mags this weekend, I've only tested one of them but I emptied it twice with no hangups. I'm going to give them all the full workout this evening after work.
  19. Never seen those before but on this particular shotgun I'd still rather replace the cap. Although now that I know those pliers exist I'll probably still throw one in my cart next time I order from Brownell's.
  20. I've got a set of Magpul Sights on my XN. They fit just fine.
  21. I'm just guessing but maybe a distributor in the chain to T&N.
