SOLD.......................For sale is a Akdal MKA 1919 XN for sale built by Tooth and Nail. I bought this 1919 XN locally and sent it to Tooth and Nail for the work. See the attached invoice from T and N for the work done, obviously prices shown do not include the cost of the gun. They installed all the parts shown plus did some polishing etc... while assembling. I had them do most everything except the grip, as I actually like the grip as it is standard. The only other thing was the side charging handle. If you need that, I am sure you could sell this forend and add the other. Since this gun

I hope it is ok to just post this notice to this group. I have decided to sell my low round MKA 1919 XN. It was built by Tooth and Nail with most every item they sell, plus some extras. Hopefully I can get it posted in the Classifieds Tuesday. Any questions in the meantime you can email me. waynefi@wideopenwest.com

side by side comparison of T&N and Firebird handguard
Waynefi replied to james lambert's topic in MKA-1919
Nice to see some agreement to these arguments between Firebird and T&N. So, if there are items that Firebird is not going to let T&N build, we have no choice, for whatever these items are, to buy from Firebird. So Firebird how about stepping up Customer Service a bit ? I have read several times from others complaining about poor service. I had sent at least 2 requests for product info from your web site and did not get a response, and after that I quit. T&N answers every call and email. So if you are the only source how about fixing this also ? That would be helpful. -
I would suggest a call to Matt at T&N.

Really nice picture. Seeing all these Ladies, you better make more gun parts !!!

That's cool congrats !!!

If you are referring to the washer/spacer, that goes on the guide rod to lock the forend from moving. It rests on the shoulder of the barrel that protrudes a bit from the receiver. I have had my barrel out twice with that lower forend washer/spacer in place , with the ears still on it. The ears only stop the bolt assy from being removed. I liked the smooth look of that forend my self, I don't see where that could be causing any of the problems.

I have a Limbsaver on my Ergo stock that makes a huge difference.

Does look like a copy or similar parts. Forend is shaped like the T and N.
-
I'm sure they all work fine, for the 3 I know of. Mine is the T and N, square, reversible, works nice for a button !!!

I was ready to order one, until I saw that ridiculous skate !
