Izhmash stamped trunnion and fantastic fit and finish. I replaced the rear sight leaf with a hard to find Russian 300m phosphate one. 10 rounds were fired to check zero and it is dead on and all the sight are perfectly centered. The box is even mint. Comes as pictured with all correct accessories, 10 round magazine, cleaning rod, and paperwork. $525 shipped to your FFL. You will not be dissapointed.

    I was told by the NYSP SAFE Hotline that a stock unconverted saiga rifle "not shotgun" was not considered an AW under the new law and not required no be registered. The "Any AK47 varient" thing is for the converted saigas and AK type rifles that have a pistol grip that are on the market. He said the rifle is not banned by name as it is just a guide to follow. Also he said if I had one of the converted saigas or AK type rifle wioth a pistol grip that I could make it compliant. This is also form the website..     I called the NY SAFE hotline and while these guys don't really no squat the detective there called me back after researching what a stock saiga sporter was. He said they are not considered a AW under the new law and do not need to be registred.     This Saiga 7.62x39 rifle is like new in box with 20 rounds fired. I had this handpicked out of 20 for the features listed below. This one is a 2009 model with the magwell dimples, military barrel that has a threaded muzzle under the front sight block, and has no chamber step like the sporter barrels. The trunnion has the arrow and triangle mark unlike most saiga sporters. The rear sight is the grey phosphate color like it should, not the black paint. The rifle has been converted by me and I have done plenty over the years and this is one has the best fit and finish I have seen. The stock is Ar
