  1. Took out my gun yesterday. Ran great except for one issue - the bolt kept dragging on the second to last shell in the mag - enough to have to manually push the bolt forward. I was using factory mags, which have previously run flawlessly. Also, was using basic Winchester target loads (1200 fps) which had also previously run well. Any thoughts? Smooth out the bottom of the bolt where it was catching? Why would this only happen on the second to last round?
  2. UTS 15. Turkish made 12 ga. Will be interesting to see Matt's take on it, as I've seen lots of mixed reviews. Some good, some bad, and some really bad. Likely in need of some good old American reengineering.
  3. I'll be placing my order soon. Very impressed with your company's ability to come to market so quickly, and what seems like ample quantities. Any improvements made over the stock unit (piston)? I sure hope no one claims to have a US patent on a "circle", because I see a few of those in this product, and they may cry "copycat".
  4. I don't feel the need to post every time I have a thought, like some do. I do a lot of lurking, observing, and felt the need to let Jim know that he may be losing customers by not responding to inquiries, and also by his own employees' big mouths. Sorry if what I said is nasty - or are you over sensitive?
  5. Steve, I bought one when I first bought my gun, and it didn't help much. I broke it in with 1500fps, 1400fps, 1375fps, and then basic bulk target loads were good to go without the bushing. A bushing may help if you want to use light loads from the beginning, but I don't need the bushing now after about 150 rounds. -Tom
  6. What, like your employees who have continuously picked a fight on here with avatar usernames? One of which was apparently somewhat libelous (post was later removed) in its accusation that a competitor copied a product of your's? Well Jim, my real name is Tom, and I emailed you over a week ago to inquire about purchasing your products, and no one from your company has responded. Your competition responded the next morning. He wants to sell, you apparently don't. Please pick up a copy of: “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. There's a PR problem brewing at
  7. I am new to the forum and to the MKA. I've started the process of planning the replacement of the hand guard, trigger group, and the stock conversion. Here's my take - I sent Firebird an email through their website on 5/8 inquiring about their parts and how to order. Today is 5/16 and they have not responded. I sent an email to Matt of T&N on 5/7 at 9:14 pm, and had a response on 5/8 at 8:14 am. So where one didn't even have the common courtesy to respond to a customer who wants to spend several hundred dollars, one responded very quickly. I don't care about Internet ego
  8. It's listed on Midway already, says will be in stock 6/2. So who will pay $70+ for the competitors' products? Midway has them for $32.99. Plus, assuming all promag components are made in the USA, this will be three 922r parts (mag body, follower, floor plate), so switching out the hand guard will make up the other required one US made part.
