  2. traking shows mine as arriving Thursday woot woot
  3. I purchased several parts from CSS and was in no way trying to say you tried to make a direct copy of there item or that your part was less effective and have no problem with USA made parts heck I am a manufacturer here and love the thought of buying US made stuff humm then why do I have a vepr LOL I have just seen a lot of hoopla about the original Russian version and wondered if it lived up to the hype and was worth the extra cash. as far as other brakes I like the looks of those 2 and was just wondering what the better one was and should have known it was another Chevy vs for
  4. is the original GK-01 worth the 100 extra bucks ? over the one offered by carolina shooters supply/ If I am not worried about keeping the vepr all Russian
  5. if you are looking for factory 2 round or 5 round mags they are in stock at budsgunshop for 45 each
  6. But think of all the headaches they saved you. No holiday traffic or moronic drunk drivers see they were thinking of you Thanks for the update
  7. the ones budsgunshop.com is selling comes with 2
  8. budsgunshop.com just listed some vepr 12's at 1199 the pic does not show a folding stock but its generic also says it comes with 2 mags.
  9. Has it been 3 weeks yet has it has it LOL
  10. mine just slid right back into place sorry I cant be of more help
  11. Well I went out and gave it hell 25 rounds 2 3/4 rem 00buckshot no prioblems 12 round mag dump of rem slugs No problems other than a sore shoulder but what are you going to do when friends dare you put 50 rounds of 00 and 25 of the slugs and 30 or so round of #8 below I tried some 2 3/4 #8 1120 fps and had a lot of fail to eject most of the time the shell was still fully in the gun and the plastic was smashed into the chamber.Simply pull the bolt back and it would fall out. It had no problems with the 5 round stock mag. using the 12 round aftermarket if I did not have a SOLID
  12. Well I would have to say that mine looks exactly like that so yours should be the same.
  13. the only think I can think of is its the bolt hold open. if its on the right side if you are looking from the buttstock to the barrel. and it goes from in front of the hammer to a button/lever by the trigger.
  14. Now the long 3-4 week wait starts :> Can't wait
  15. very soon = next day a month = eternity
  16. there is one out there I watched it I just cant find it again This one is not a 12 but its basically the same. Other than I recommend pulling the hammer springs up and around the hammer and then rubber banding them there so they dont come off and slap you. this is also a nice overview of how to strip the 12 down https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYLZioUQqpU the vepr 12 comes with the retainer plate and not a wire spring. or at least mine did
  17. Closed with touch up fingernail polish
  18. After about 10 minutes with a drimmel with a supper fine tip I cut away most of the weld. Then held the release switch and whacked the end of the buttstcok with the palm of my hand 2-3 times and now shes free shots of the damage. The part to the left most if the silver color is not seen while closed. On the right that is just discolored from the dust. There was actualy only about 3/32" of visable carnage when closed. My blue repair pen was dry so i used black fingernail polish to cover the wounds. I for got to snap a pic of that but will add it. It is ever
  19. after I got it out the bolt looked like it had a 1/8" deep hole in the end of it that a centerpuch was then put in and whacked real good. I bet it was flaired out a good 1/16" after it was removed no telling how wide it was before It went back through the threads.
  20. after 2 guys and a vice for 30 mins we got about 6 turns on it before the head stripped. So now I have a 4 pcs stock pistol grip if anyone wants to glue it back together. I had to weld some 1/4" bar stock onto the bolt to attach a 24" braker bar to get the nut off the bolt.
  21. ya I actualy did not even need a tool to move it after I figured out how it worked. The replacement trigger had a wire spring so I was looking for that when I started. I used the original retaining system it looked better than the wire.
  22. thanks I guess its time to get the big boy screwdriver
  23. one more note the trigger I removed had a metal tube in it like the replacement so it did not go flying when I removed the pin. Not sure if thats a new thing or not. I am totaly new to the vepr Thanks for the tips
  24. So I got the carolina shooter trigger kit and gas plug installed in a snap err well the snap was the damn hammer sping slapping me around a few times I go to put on the scorpion hand grip to help with 922r compliance and the flipping screw that holds on the stock handgrip is frozen. I used extream force and got it to move 1/4 turn it now is easy to turn it back and forth that 1/4 turn. I addes some lube and worked it back and forth and hope it brakes free. It feels like it may have been cross threaded. Is there some trick that I missed I went to youtube and it looks like all you do i
  25. the vepr 12 I just got from royal tiger did not have a spring it was an actual metal plate. To remove take out the saftey arm. lift up on the plate it will go like 1/8" Slide out the trigger pin. Slide the plate back to wards the buttstock and it will free the hammer pin. Not hard at all other than being slapped with the hammer spring a few times and then securing it with a rubber band so it quit slipping off and slapping me and it was golden. It was a bit of a hastle to get the saftey back in there it kind of hangs up on the outside if the gun on the trigger pin but if you g
