  3. Ammo is usually listed in the Misc section, might try there
  4. I read a comment to be careful about slam fires because the 5.45 are not spring loaded. Is that accurate and is there a source for Saiga .223 bolts?
  5. One of the big things I always think about having replacement parts just in case something goes wrong and breaks. I found these Bulgarian Bolt Heads in 5.56x45 on AK builder, and was wondering if it would fit in a Vepr 223? I know each bolt needs to be head spaced to the gun, but what does that process involve?
  6. I think it is a bit inflated but they are just not any out there, so the price might be realistic given the uniqueness. You never really know if you will see that model again, so I say if you love it, do it! I like it a lot but am trying to find a 23" that I passed on for around $800, we will see. Good luck, let us know if you pull the trigger!
  7. Just saw them on Molot USA's website but they are 1499...
  8. Looking for a 23" Vepr in slant or square back with Version 1 traditional AK sights. Not looking for anything fancy or something with a ton of extras.
  9. I am kicking myself for not picking one up at Centerfire when they had the 23" Squareback V1 Veprs. Anyone know of a place that still has them besides Atlantic and Molot USA, those are 1k+
  10. So does the standard Vepr handguard wood or poly like the SGM tri offer a little more protection because it comes up just a little higher on the sides as opposed to a standard AK lower HG?
  11. I am looking at picking up a at a .223 V02 Vepr from Centerfire. I just wanted to put on a simple non Railed polymer lower HG on but dont like the bulkiness of the Ronin HG. Since the gas tube is unique/atypical and wont work with a standard AK upper HG I was just trying to see if I could use a Dinzag Arms bolt on HG retainer and a standard AK lower HG? Also if anyone knows of a Vepr HG that is smooth polymer that will fit besides the Ronin, let me know, thanks!

Actually this time it isn't, Kalashnikov Inc just unveiled their new bullpup rifles the AS-1 & AS-2 http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2013/08/25/kalashnikov-as-1-as-2-bullpup-rifles/ The new brand is already rolling the remaining "new" old stock is the last Izhmash branded Saiga's available.
