I don't get it?... I have thought about it, but after some concerns with different diameters of Siaga 12 barrel and Vepr 12 barrel, I would like to further research if possible. I wish some companies would shed more light into their R&D and testing. I even purchased a 2 round magazine to shoot skeet with my Vepr 12. A modified choke with a brake would be the tits... Hopefully since this is the Vepr 12 version it will work, but since it is kind of important to know, so that your gun doesn't blow up, a little research or a few emails might be in order...

I really am just wondering if the quad rail will work with the Vepr version 2 with the integrated sights? If I buy the tri-rail which works with the version 2 will the top half work with it as well when you finish production? Thanks for the help!

I am really interested in this idea as well. I know aluminum is not as strong as steel but it would be far lighter, and if an AR made of aluminum can handle the 308 or 458 socom I would think it could handle an AK variant round. I know the action is pretty violent but it would be great to see. Anyone ever read anything about other materials for AK's?

Thank God someone else is making these! A couple obligatory questions: Projected release date? Projected price? Will they fit the V1 and more importantly the V2 Integrated sight models? Will they fit all calibers? Does you have to swap out the gas tube? Please say no! Thank you, there is a desperate need for new Vepr products!!!

Okay here is one pic I see how it sits, so looking at this or anyone who has one do you think if you remove the sight you could attach a hinge dustcover, specifically the Texas Weapons systems Dog leg rail? Anyone have one?

I was wondering if anyone had up close pictures or could describe how the rear sight is affixed to the receiver on the 02 Vepr rifles? Does it sit in the groove where the rear leaf sight usually would or if not does that grooved section still exist? The reason I ask is I am wondering if you could affix a rear rail for optics like the Texas Weapons Systems Dog leg, which attaches to that section. Any info would help a lot. Thanks!
