  1. I sent in 2 form 1's via USPS for a SBR and SBS under a trust back in mid July in the same envelope, and just got both stamps in the same envelope mid April. Nine months almost to the day.
  2. Try usmachineguns.com Lots of different adapters, but expensive.
  3. Saiga12 don't let these house frows talk you out of your business plan for a simple, reliable, quick turn around conversion. If I didn't have the tools I have or access to, I would have been looking for a simple, basic quick conversion. Your 100% correct, not everybody knows or wants to know every fine detail, they just want to know they didn't have to wait a year just to get on the list. I know my thought are in the minority sooooooooooooooooooooooooo flame suit on boys!! lol
  4. Air chisel is the way to go. I ground the 1" wide chisel flat. I had a chunk of aluminum plate I put between the chisel and that flat piece on the GB, started with zero air pressure, pulled the trigger with a good steadied grip, had a friend feed in air until I had a good controllable pounding, lol 30 seconds later the GB was off. I have a lathe so I polished that area a bit with some 2000 wet and dry sand paper. I use a piece of 1 1/4 pvc to pound it back on, it went back on nice and snug, and came off with less effort the second time. You can buy the Chinese junk air hammer set from Harbor

    2 bolts

I know we are looking at two different bolts. Did you polish and remove some of the metal, or are they from different models/ years? Is the backstory somewhere on the message board, and Im not seeing it? Thanks.
  6. I heard the E filing folks with the Trust's were having problems, as the basic Trust is 12 pages and the upload file size limit was less than the 12 pages. I don't know file size jargon. The middle of April will be 8 months since I sent two form 1's in on a Trust. Seems the waits are going to get longer and longer.
  7. I had FTE with the cheap low base shells as expected from reading all the posts. I polished the bolt, I gently changed the abrupt angle which the bolt contacts the hammer when re setting the hammer for the next shot. It made working the bolt by hand much easier, but it did not fix the FTE with all stock parts. I read and read and read, decided to remove the gas block with a air hammer on a very low setting. Worked great. While the block was off I could clearly see all my slightly larger than 062 ports were un obstructed. A nice black ring around the diamond.I choose not to enlarge the port's,
