  1. How have we managed to come to a point where this headline is even POSSIBLE, much less needed? http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/kansas-bans-poor-people-from-spending-welfare-on-cruise-ships/ar-AAaqT94

  3. 20 years ago she was losing all the documents regarding Whitewater. 2 complete file cabinets I believe it was, and she "could not recall" anything she was asked in reference to it either. Her pattern has not changed, only the technology she uses to hide behind.
  4. The Henry 22 Jr. model is an excellent choice as well. As stated above, a life time gun for sure.
  5. He got what he wanted, at a price he was willing to pay. By my definition, that's a deal. Case closed.
  6. Shandlanos, maybe the current & former military members of this forum will note you did not have the time to read it, as it is a tribute to them. Sad statement of character.
  7. A Different Christmas Poem The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, Transforming the yard to a winter delight. The sparkling lights in the tree I believe, Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve. My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
  8. This morning, I received this response: We do not show the drums in place with an optic on the site in the pics or videos , the dual drum design comes up on the left side of the receiver , there is no trick to overcome it or way to clear the mounts if they stick out . Blaine Bunting Just letting you know if you use these, your Russian SCOPE MUST BE REMOVED. Follow up: Took a dremel to the locking lever, managed to trim away enough to get drum and scope to lock in place. Apparently, the mount that came with my PK-01 and POSP have an oversize on the end of locking lever. Cu
  9. Atlantic's 5.45x39 drums (2) Just to follow up, these appeared fine on initial inspection. However, when I attempted to fit into my rifles, they DO NOT FIT IF USING THE SIDE MOUNTED SCOPE!. Once scope is removed, drum fits just fine. But, even though the scope can then be replaced, the locking lever cannot be engaged, making the scope useless. I have contacted Atlantic both by phone and e mail, awaiting response.
  10. Well Done! Obviously some influence by her uncle! Congratulations to you both!
  11. Not a fan of info wars myself, however, wife checked the Dr.'s credentials, and he is in fact who he claims to be.
  12. You mention you prefer right handed rifles. Have you determined your dominate eye? The would have a greater bearing on your adaptability to left or right hand weapons than your actual hand preference. My brother is left handed, but right eye dominate. All his weapons are right hand, and he is very good with them. My son on the other hand, is left handed and left eye dominate. Right hand weapons are very difficult for him, accuracy-wise.
  13. Did UK sign the UN weapons treaty? I do not know, but this sounds a lot like what I heard in warnings about what it( the treaty) meant for gun owners in this country.

  15. Tone & inflection are impossible to read in a written word. If I over-reacted, my apologies, AA. Just seems lately Gen Discussion forum has become more of a fight club, and I guess I got a bit defensive. Again, I apologize.
  16. Thanks, Ed. I was referring to the Admiral in my post, just failed to put "acting", but some just like to jump on my posts regardless. the original reply to me was a series of these . For future use, AA, I will defer to your obvious superior knowledge and refrain from posting.
  17. "to enter the country and legally apply for work permits" , for what jobs? Where are these 100,000 jobs that they will receive permits to take? Shouldn't those be offered to those American jobless first? Unemployment stats are very underrated at best, but regardless, still not zero. Will they get $15 per hour? Is it legal to violate immigration laws by executive order?
  18. So, Obama has appointed a "Czar" for ebola, and we have the CDC supposedly running the operation. The Czar is a lawyer/businessman that had his hand in the till with Solindra, the CDC has been a cluster from the gitgo. Where has the U.S. Surgeon General been? By definition, the Chief Medical Leader of our country, and not 1 appearance, press conference, or statement to the press! WTF?
  19. Where the hell did they find these health care people? This one treated the samples of patient zero and went on a FKN CRUISE???? http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/cruise-ship-stranded-in-passenger-ebola-scare/ar-BB9B0PO
  20. Watch the guy with the clipboard, what do they hand him that he places on the steps, and then they bring him biohazard bags. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/ebola-nurse-amber-vinson-plane-mystery-man-no-hazmat-suit-dallas-atlanta/
  21. Wife and daughter are nurses. According to them, there is currently an extreme shortage of saline solution for IVs. Hospitals and clinics are having a hard time even finding it. The Gov't recently approved the main supplier to bring in supplies from its other plant in Spain, until its new facility in the US is ready, late 2015. This solution is critical for treatment of ebola to restore hydration. Its also a necessity for treatments of a myriad of other problems. This does not bode well.
  22. Well, looks like we now have the NE entangled: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/boston-area-clinic-quarantined-after-patient-displays-ebola-signs-paper/ar-BB8VXtb
