I'm looking to replace my current right side folding stock with a left folding Canis. I've seen pictures of the folding Canis stock posted as far back as 2013. Problem is I can't find any info on it or find it listed for sale anywhere. They don't even mention it on their website except that a folding vepr stock is in R&D : / did I miss something? Was it dicountinued?

I'm looking to buy the Canis AR15 stock adapter for a saiga 7.62. I have a Bonesteel Intergrated AR15 right side folding stock that I'd be willing to negotiate a trade on.

We were shooting skeet at the time. But it was enough to convince me to change my rifles to left handed configuration without actually firing them. Dry firing my AK left was enough to convince me that my setup was all wrong

Correct. When I was much younger my instructor told me I was left eye dominant. I didn't listen to his instruction because It didn't feel natural shooting left at the time. Fast froward well over a decade plus a few years..and a good friend recently mentioned he noticed I might be left eye dominant. I decided to try shooting left, and this time it felt much more natural

Long story short...I've been shooting right handed for my whole life...but it turns out I'm actually a better leftie. Needless to say the AK is a great set up for lefties! Except...I have a right side folding stock that I need to get rid of..a pistol grip that doesn't feel right anymore...and a forearm that I need to customize. Is there anything that I'm forgetting? I'm literally a brand new leftie and don't know what I'm getting myself into

Wow I completely agree. Gravity was way overrated and I was watching it on my 55inch led 3d tv. Apollo 13 did a ten fold better job. I also completely agree with anchor man 2. I waited until it came out on redbox to watch it because from the previews I thought it looked retarded. But even watching it sober was very entertaining haha. Very worth the dollar to view it. Handloaded subsonic would be the best but I hear they sometimes don't cycle the bolt. Let me know how the range goes and how loud it is. Ive been looking into getting a suppressor as well.

I can't recall any battle rifle with a glock type hammer safety. Ar15,ak47,cetme, sig550, g36, etc. Nothing has that of safety feature that I know of except for certain pistols.

@Redchallenger. The videos I've seen with the 300 blk are amazing. Especially the ones with the Daniel Defense interegal suppressor. I Literally only heard the bolt moving. I was actually considering selling my AKs to fund a 300 blk Ar15 until I saw the price of suppressors for the 300 blk. I just don't think I can justify a $1,000+ can plus a 200$ tax stamp. 600 dollars tax stamp included is alot more doable.

@ termite. Here's the suppressor Ive been looking at http://huntertownarms.com/k762ak.php. It's the only suppressor I've found that's designed for the ak47 and it's the cheapest(490ish) Any other options you know of with a similar price?

From what I understand subsonic 7.62x39 ammo is something your better off reloading yourself. Which is what I plan on doing if everything works out. Most videos ive seen of suppressed AKs use full powered factory loads. Needless to say the suppression level wasn't very impressive. As far as blown cans or baffle strikes go the "huntertown" ak47 silencer advertises that only a small removable back section of the suppressor is the registered part. So incase of a blowout or baffle strike it's easily fixable.

I've always wanted a class 3 toy but the long drive to a dealer always deterred me. But Recently I found out that a class 3 dealer is minutes away from me! I've been bitten by the suppressor bug but the problem is I can find only 1 ak47 suppressor(huntertown) and it has no reviews no video no anything that I can find about it. Is suppressing the ak47 just not a good idea? Does anybody here have any experience with a suppressed AK? After watching how incredibly well the .300 blackout can be suppressed its hard for me to believe that the similar 7.62x39 can't be. Or is my thinking flawed?

Wow Ok now after updated reports I go back to one of my previous theories. The copilot is the one that said "alright, goodnight". Where was the pilot himself? I think he was below deck pulling wires and turning circuit breakers. The copilot Reportedly has no time flying a 777 and was in the process of learning how to. Another theory I have is that there was a fire that knocked out communications, transponders etc and the pilot flew to 45,000 feet in a attempt to extinguish it. The news is reporting that the course he took brought him extremely close to 2 airports. Maybe he was trying to make a emergency landing but simply couldnt see the airports. No need for a team. The cockpit door should be reinforced. So 1 pilot could pull it off if he timed it right and killed the copilot. I mean all he would have to do is get on the intercom and say he'll crash the plane if he so much as hears a knock on his door. I also understand that a cell phone uses the planes electronics to make a call. So turn off the right system and cell phones could be useless which would explain no calls or texts. Hell.. He would even have to kill the copilot/ pilot. He would just need to get him out of the cockpit and lock the door behind him.
