Good luck on the job brother. 15 years under my belt, I've had some good times and still do, but had a nut bag mutt try to rip my eyes outta my face also.( Long story that I wont discuss). So remember don't let your guard down shit can and does go south in a heartbeat!!! Another biggie...leave your feelings at the gate...both ways. Don't bring your home to work and your work home!!! Also remember..you don't know shit...so listen to what others tell you and never say its not my job. You are a new jack, do what is told of you and ask questions if you don't know or are unsure. The dumbest questio -

Looks good. How many coats of stain and oil?? I have an old black stock set that I think I'll use as a test piece after I strip and sand it. I see you have the same pistol grip. Was you FCG and piston changed out to a Tapco for the 922 BS?

Looks like range day to me...lmao. Seen something like that when I was at the Gunk.

Yep you are right. Got thinking about my post at work while looking over some AK info and it dawned on me.....I posted it as a Yugo because I had been doing some homework on my Yugo SKS. Blonde moment!

Well seeing as since I have a Saiga 223 and am dying to convert it, I couldn't pass up the price and opportunity to pick this one up. Was returned to the dealer in the same shape as he sold it to the guy 12 years ago. Only a little fouling on the piston and that's it. Lucky if he put 50 down range with it. Its a 1978 and was lightly neutered during the first round of 922r compliance BS. Luckily it still takes the double stack mag and with the compliance laws the original trigger group has been removed and a Tapco G2 trigger was installed as well as a Tapco piston. Gonna start looking for some

Purchased an AK/SKS parts lot and these came with it. Not sure where they fit into the scheme of these type rifles so I figured with the wealth of knowledge here someone could figure it out. Thanks in advance!!

It sounds more like you have a house that is wired like mine. Early 1900's updated in the 70's. Balloon construction. Does any of your power outlets use the speed connectors in the back of the receptacle or do they use the actual screw terminals. The speed plugs in the back have a tendency to work loose over time if you where to walk into a room the foot vibration would cause lights to flicker. Now if you have your lines run in series ( one followed right after the other ie: daisy chained)and one of the receptacles come loose it could affect outlets and fixtures in other rooms. Usually rooms h -

My eldest sending a few down range with my Saiga .223. He was getting real bored shooting his grandfathers Remington 514 .22 as he kept getting pegged with my .223 brass. He loves to shoot!

One Sick Bastard and I Have Proof
sgt1146 replied to yakdung's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
Man this dude is a complete Ass Clown! Problem is that is the mentality these days of a lot of people I have seen and met. They all have a warped view on what is right an wrong. Lets not give the death penalty to someone who kills 10 people including kids but someone drops an N bomb or doesn't believe that alternative lifestyles are correct and they want to crucify them. Society is all F'd up! -
I can almost guarantee almost 50% of my city has a weapon. We are a community with deep rooted hunting/fishing heritage. So walking out your front door with a gun here is almost not even looked at twice. When I moved in and found out that I had some neighbors I didn't care for the looks of I announced myself loud and clear. Got my Mossberg 935, my cleaning kit and a cold beer and racked the action as I sat on the back porch and cleaned my weapon. ( wife called me a few choice words about that one ) Our crime rates are low compared to the larger cities and most of that has to deal with how many

Yeah I did some research before I joined this sight and they seemed to have some of the best mods. Thinking of a mag adapter but want to lighten the trigger pull after I move the trigger group forward.
-
Well I don't have some of the cool mods alot of you have but 3 kids take up alot of my gun $$. All I have at the moment is an Omeg Tactical quad rail, a side mount weaver rail and a BSA Tactical Mil Dot scope. ($49 at Bass Pro, came with an SKS reciever mount and a AR15 rail mount) Plan to add some more off the shelf pieces as well as some custom mods if I can get the help from some local Saiga 12 forum members. Other than that I have to say that I envy as well as respect what alot of you have done and this forum is full of awesome information and ideas.

Yeah Matt Hopkins, throwing our money at another politician may end up as fruitless but at least we are willing to bet our $$$ to get back our freedoms. How would you like to live in a state where they want to pay out money to rat bastards who are willing to turn in their neighbor for having a so called banned weapon. What if it wasn't banned but they want to see your gun safe anyhow. What if your neighbor was just pissed at you for putting up a fence and he knew you were a sportsman and had guns. Donating some $$$ in a concerted effort to change the State of the State and bring back personal

Well if like they are saying.....4 million NY gun owners (donors) x $5.00 per each = $20 million dollars. Now figure in the gun lobby, local sportsman federations, hunting clubs, and so many other Orgs. maybe we can get him 3x the amount if not more. From what I know about campaign financing, people from other states can even send up to a certain dollar amount to a candidate. Now pay attention to that last sentence because as everyone in NY is already figuring, Tsar Andy will be running for the top seat of the country next go around! (and you thought Hillary would of been a nightmare!) Why do

Just seen this come through on FB from NY Safe Act Resoultions. I hope this guy is for real and actually has the nuts to do it. If so, I'll send a few bills his way!! ALBANY, N.Y. -- Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin said he's considering a campaign for governor, but he said he still needs to raise millions of dollars if he hopes to unseat Governor Cuomo. McLaughlin estimates he would need $15 million to $20 million to compete in a race with Cuomo. Another uphill battle for the Republican assemblyman, is name recognition against the governor. Still, he said he's confident that he could win over

My rank and a number that I sit on every day!! -
Just stopping in to introduce myself to the forum. I am the proud owner of a Saiga 223, Yugo SKS as well as a few other long guns. Mainly for deer/waterfowl and plinking. I do not stand by the SAFE act nor would I ever turn someone in for breaking it. F$%# the liberal bastards!! Myfavorite thing is that I finished adding some mods to my SKS the day they signed the SAFE act bill. It was a wonderful moment in my life. Like giving birth to my 4th child..lmao..dont tell the wife! I can go on a tangent here but I figure you have either heard it all or have said it yourselves. I am mainly here to
