I would prefer quiet to the fiasco that happened here lately...... Of course some productive posts would be welcome! Especially about modifying a drum to work on the 1919.... :>)
  3. Also I have noticed that in the break in period some real good lube works great too. I use it liberally on the bolt and the guide rod and the guide block. I have not had issues at all using 1200 fps ammo, however I do have a xn model. This is the lube I use ( archoil AR 4200) and found it to be the best after trying about 12 different ones that all claimed to be the best. I have no affiliation with the company and have to buy the stuff just like everyone else. A little goes a long way..... T
  4. Salem 6 does make a molded/injected forearm that is lighter. Has the option of adding weaver rails in a few different spots so you can change weight characteristics some... I have one on mine and so far its doing decent.
  5. I might be interested in the firebird lower. Please put me first in for that..... Thanks, T
  6. I have the elliptical Firebird one on mine and have used it a little bit but so far I am liking it. I have it set-up closer to the trigger finger area for a short reach to drop the mag. Definately much easier than the stock one.
