  1. No problems in the stock config.

The finish is holding up fine but I haven't abused it. I need to wring it out with the Urbino stock since it uses a shorter recoil spring.

I had an 1100 and it was great so I can't say which is better. The mossy is cheaper until you spend 170 on a stock and 100 on threading the barrel.

  2. Took out the FDE today.  The OD will have to wait for now.

I was very happy with the reliability.  223 and 5.56 ran like a watch.  Accuracy was good considering the wind, my crappy eyes, and a red dot sight.  2.5"  Yeah I was happy with that.

The ALG single chamber brake is retarded loud.  I took it off and put on an A2 birdcage.

  3. Well she went to the range today.  Unfortunately had fte problems.  It's been back to Sig for rework but it's got a very low round count so internals are not broken in yet.  When I got home I took it down and stoned the rough surfaces which make it much smoother to hand cycle.

So I'll see what difference that makes next range trip.

I knew it was a gen 1 when I bought it so I won't complain.  If it has to go back to Sig again then I'll send it back.

  4. DARTH,

SO, YOU GOT 'ER FINISHED? A TRUE WORK OF ART, MY FRIEND.

    JESS

Pretty much finished except for drilling and tapping 2 holes to mount the stock. I have to wait on my government permission slip for that. With current wait times I'm hoping for Oct.

  5. I trust that my constructive intent was clear when I filed the Form 1.

I wouldn't be posting a picture of an AR lower and a short barrel upper without a stamp in hand, since those parts can be put together without modification of either.

But since there is drilling that must be done before the stock can be mounted I'm comfortable posting the picture.

  6. There is still an option to stop it?

It can be defunded. It can be resisted in other ways. Every piece that can be stopped or delayed is a win.

The states that are refusing to set up exchanges are gumming up the works.

We just can't throw up our hands and say it's a done deal.
