9mm Dakota Tactical D34 Carbine with custom burlwood furniture.
Actually took this lil' carbine out just yesterday.... per usual, she was a hoot to shoot and fired very accurately.

.... but as long as popular vote is ignored in lieu of the electoral college we have no say at the ballot box either. A handful of states decide the elections every time and they are primarily liberal.....
BINGO! (For the few of you that are blissfully ignorant on how the General Election works.)

The fix is in. Ladies and Gents she will be the next President of these United States. Think the California gun laws are bad, just wait.

Abso-friggen-lutely. The old hag-lying-beotch is our next Commander-in-Chief. What has just been revealed to all Americans and to the world, is a testament to just how corrupt our United States Government and our political system as a whole has become.
'Smoke and mirrors' is a methodology no longer needed. THEY do it right out in the open now, and the sheeple don't bat an eyelash.
Perhaps from this day forward we should all fly the U.S. flag at our homes, upside down (in distress). Then again, display of the U.S. flag in any manner, will likely soon be against the law. http://www.jeffhead.com/liberty/flagdistress.htM

A high-end fixed blade would likely be a nice gift.... one that's designed for harsh climates and salt water of course.
You should not concern yourself with considering mirrors or knee pads or any of that kind of stuff. As previously mentioned, he will be essentially fitted with anything and everything he could possible need.

IMHO, I believe Mychal Massie stated it best back during January (an excerpt):
"Trump is not a conservative... neither does Trump view himself as a conservative.... Trump is a pragmatist. He sees a problem and understands it must be fixed. He then sets about fixing it. He doesn't see the problem as liberal or conservative; he sees it only as a problem. That is a quality that should be admired and applauded, not condemned....
Viewing problems from a liberal perspective has resulted in the creation of more problems, more entitlement programs, more victims, more government, more political correctness and more attacks on the working class in all economic strata. Viewing things according to the so-called Republican conservative perspective has brought continued spending, globalism to the detriment of American interests and well-being, denial of what the real problems are and weak, ineffective, milquetoast leadership that amounts to Barney Fife, deputy sheriff -- appeasement-oriented and afraid of its own shadow. In brief, it has brought liberal ideology with a pachyderm as a mascot juxtaposed to the ass of the Democrat Party.
You may not like Donald Trump. I suspect that the reason people do not like him is because: 1) he is antithetical to the "good old boy" method of brokering backroom deals that fatten the coffers of politicians; 2) they are unaccustomed to hearing a candidate speak who is unencumbered by the financial shackles of those who own him vis-a-vis donations; 3) he is someone who understands that it takes more than hollow promises and political correctness to make America great again.
I submit that a pragmatist might be just what America needs right now. And as I said earlier, a pragmatist sees a problem and understands that the solution to fix same is not about a party, but a willingness and boldness to get it done.
People are quick to confuse and despise confidence as arrogance, but that is common amongst those who have never accomplished anything in their lives and who have always played it safe not willing to risk failure."
Me personally as a conservative, I can totally get behind a guy that is a pragmatist, specifically with regards to our fu@#ed-up government political system.

If your pick isn't in the poll, what one do you like and why?
Regardless of the firearm platform (i.e., AK, AR, etc.), it's my understanding that the B.E. Meyers series of flash hiders (not compensators, brakes, whatever other types or variants one would care to label a muzzle device as) are one of the most effective, period. (NOTE: I did not say "the best ever" or "thee most effective," etc.)
Yet you do not have them listed?!?! I think you need to do a much more thorough job with your research.

CONGRATS! Personally, I've never had to process any of those forms (my collection are all plain-jane).... but your experience sounds very encouraging.

Took the rifle out to the firing range yesterday for her baptismal shooting session; breaking in the rifle's barrel and sighting in the Vortex scope. Well... the session was less than terrific. The rifle functioned wonderfully, except for the JP Enterprise silent captured buffer spring. I was firing Russian 7n6 ammo. Apparently, the OEM spring is just a wee-bit too stout for this particular rifle configuration. The bolt carrier would fail to catch/strip-off every third to fourth round from the magazine, and more than half of the time the bolt did not lock back on the magazine after the last round was fired. All symptoms of the buffer spring being too strong/heavy. I did not experience this issue with my Huldra Arms & AXTS Lower piston AR15 that has a JP silent captured buffer spring... but that rifle is carbine length and of course is comprised of other component parts.
Anyway, so there goes another $38+ for a JP Enterprise Alternate Spring Pack which contains five (5) buffer springs of different weights to tune the rifle's cycling rate.
Oh, and I found myself enjoying the tuning fork "twaannng" I was sensing from the B.E. Meyers 249F Flash Hider.

Here is my latest rifle build, intended for my wife (albeit she rarely gets out to the firing range with me ). My intent was to build a target rifle, using the lightest components I could find and afford..... alas, that exercise essentially got shot-to-shit when I went with a heavy barrel. Here are all the component parts that I went with for this AR build:
Battle Arms Development
-- BAD556 Lightweidht 7075-T6 Billet Receiver Set
-- Enhanced Pin Set
-- Enhanced Modular Mag Release
-- Short Throw Ambi-Safety Selector w/ Crank levers
-- Black Melonite rife length gas tube
Norgon Ambi Mag Release
Seekins Precision Enhanced Bolt Catch
Geissele Super Tricon FCG
AXTS Raprtor Ambi Charging Handle
BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 Pistol Grip
Fortis Low Profile Gas Block
Lancer Systems: LCR5 Round Carbon Fiber Extra Long Premium Handguard, and Carbon Fiber Fixed A2 rear Stock
JP Enterprise Silent Captured Buffer Spring
VooDoo Innovations DI Lifecoat Integral Gas Key Carrier with 5.45 Bolt Head Assembly
R Guns 20" Fluted 1/8 twist Chrome Molly Match Grade Barrel
B.E. Meyers 249F Flash Hider
Aero Precision Ultralight Scope Mount
Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16x42 optic with BDC Reticle
Harris BR Bipod
I think that covers everything.
I haven't had her out to the range yet (it's been raining almost non-stop here in the Pacific Northwest), but I'm naturally hoping that she will be a really nice shooting AR target rifle.
There were two mods that I had to make: The BCM Mod 3 pistol grip's duck bill needed to be removed due to the slanted angle of my lower's integral trigger guard, and I had to fabricate a sling point bracket to affix the Harris bipod to on the bottom of the carbon fiber handguard. Everything else with putting this rifle together was gravy.

Looks like Cruz is getting the Carson vote
...and mine.
When I want to listen to a preacherman (regarding Cruz), I attend church. Ask me when the last time was that I attended a service?

Your not doing what? Shooting it? If not what's the point? I was thinking about buying one of these and was curious about accuracy.
I'm not shooting it.... much (I'm already onto other projects).
Regarding my VEPR's accuracy.... IMO it isn't anything to get excited about, but it does okay. Yea; I know.... that doesn't tell you much.
Let me put it this way: Although I am not markedly disappointed with my rifle's accuracy, the groupings are not as tight as I had hoped or wished they would be.
So who here, from the old days...

Joined the forum back during December 2006. Haven't visited in a very long time.... been pursuing other interests and such. Once in a blue moon I pop back in though. This forum has always been a wonderful collaborative source of information; folks always spoke their minds freely (sometimes, too much so?). Anyway, "saying it like it is" was/is one of the reasons why I loved this online community.
Hope the rest of us old-timers are doing well and staying safe.
