Thanks for the reply. Just looking for one the collaspes. I've already done my conversion and I used a nato stock, but it's too short when I have my scope on it. Need something longer.

How good are the cspec mags? They are stell mags right? I've been trying to get Uinta to corespond about ordering but I'm about to give up on him because he doesn't reply to any of my emails. What's the difference b/w Uninta and Cspec other than the price? Thanks, Joe

I've been wanting to convert my 308 for several years now but I'm re-thinking after I consider the cost of doing it. I figured that after I pay for a tacitcal handguard, clamp on brake, butt stock, trigger, etc. I would have more invested than what it cost me to purchase it. Is it worth it? Would you do it? I have a 308 that I'm wanting to go tactical with it. I haven't converted it yet because I'm waiting to decide which handguard to get. Can you recommend one that will look super tactical. Thanks! Joe

Hello, I was wondering how many yards out a Saiga 308 can hit it's target? 300 yards? 500? Do you think it can compete with an AR? I already have 1 Saiga and I'm thinking about getting another for long distant shots. I had thought about getting an AR, but just can't justify spending all that money when I have a Saiga. Happy New Year! I'm getting ready to start the new year off right by going to Cabela's. I'm going to be looking for 308 ammo and was wanting to know if they sell good ammo that will work for my 308? If I remember correctly, the last time I was there, only one ammo manufactuer was on the shelf. I can't remember what it was. But is there any danger of buy "bad" ammo that won't work in my saiga?
