You will also need a Threading die in 14x1 LH and a threading guide and a crush washer from CSS. You can cut off 9/16 of the barrel cap with a small tubing cutting. Just make sure the tube cutter is all metal as the plastic ones will fail as I found out.
CSS gives member here a 10% discount if you enter CSS in cupon box when checking out !
I have some photos using a tubing cutter that I can't find. Get a small meatal framed one if you go that route. The plastic ones will fail, as I found out. Holding rifle during threading without damaging it is not easy.
Aaah now you still have the thread cutting tools. I faced the same decision about threading the barrel or switching the FSB. Well after threading 3 Saiga muzzles I can say the tools have paid for themselves and are ready for any future use as opposed to buying 3 FSB's.
Damn my threading die also has a taper at both ends.
Beware the WW wood stocks. The gray areas won't come out even with wood bleach as I found out. Plenty of great condtion stock sets around online and at large gun shows.
Good luck with your WW AK. Shoot it often as any problem that may show up will be while it's under warranty.
I picked up a AK mag loader at CDNN works with 5.45 and 7.62, simple and easy to use.
About the 5.45 cal. rifles .... once you shoot one it's all over ........ I'm at 3 of them now.
Picked up some Hornady hunting rounds to try out on a wild boar.
