  1. Mike- For competition both the magwell and the LRBHO would be a great addition. The reloads looked great on the video. I'd prefer to reload when needed and not wait around for a click. If I miss count in the middle of a stage, having the bolt lock open would be a big help. Please keep us posted. I'm in for both.
  2. That man needs a drum!!!
  3. Hey Tony- Now that the 3gun is over, do you have any photos of the new shotgun? Thanks!
  4. They came in today from AGP. I gotta say they sure are sweet! The follower travels better than the black ones and there is more room in the mag so the rounds can compress more freely when reloading. I'm hoping this will cure my inability to reload on a closed bolt. More good stuff from AGP!!! Thanks guys!
  5. Thanks guys!!!! I just had to get a couple. 11 left
  6. It's more of a "when the kids are grown up and out of college" thing. Ooh, the guns I'll own.
  7. I've used blue and red for guns. Personally, I'm skittish with Loctite so I always try the blue first and then use the red if it doesn't hold. I've never had to go to green.
  8. Way to go Russell!! I hope to make it to this match later on down the road. There isn't another match that comes anywhere close to the Ironman.
  9. Thanks a lot for letting us know. I'm glad I didn't find out after I had 2 of them apart.
  10. There are plenty of magazine tuners already in business. This is not uncommon. For pistols, there are at lest 4 companies that make aftermarket followers. That business is there because the already overpriced magazine doesn't work as well as we would like in a match. Bombing a stage because your mag pukes on you can be easily fixed with a tuned mag. (If you don't want to work on it yourself) Personally, I'd buy a new follower for about $10, otherwise, I'd just fix it myself. I'm sure if I took out a Russian follwer I could figure out how much fiberglass build up was necessary to get a res
  11. So far, so good. Tony did drill out the the original screw hole and tap it for a bigger screw. I can't speak for the original screw or how well it would do. Damn day job is getting in the way of torture testing right now. The rail is awesome and will be worth the wait.
  12. The prototype is done and it's working great. You may want to send Atlantic Firearms a PM and ask them what is going on with the rail. They've got to be close by now.
  13. That looks like a good start. Linky???????
  14. Tnek- You should take a look at the Caspian guns. The grip is very close to a 1911 grip. Hi cap mags are available again and the gun is back in the competition market.
