  1. I liked it, and I thought it was a good movie, but it wasn't what I expected and it won't be what you expect. I'm surprised Chris Carter was allowed to make it, frankly. Maybe they had to let him make another one due to some contractual obligation. It has almost none of the "big aliens conspiracy" stuff that I had expected. It's almost like he hadn't quite finished telling the story about Mulder and Scully as people, and this was his chance. It's much more a study in the idea of belief and faith and the hope that there is something more than just what you can see. By all means,
  2. I'd really like one for 7.62x39. That would be sweeeeeet.
  3. Joe Hilarious ain't gonna like that....
  4. Or at least absorbs a lot of the energy before it does.
  5. Received the gun today. It's in beautiful condition -- you can hardly believe it's not right off the boat from the factory. One of the best private-sale transactions I've ever had via the internet.
  6. Automatic weapons are for suppression fire while the guy with the bolt-action picks off the bad guys one-by-one. You're not trying to kill them. You're trying to pin them down. Don't they know anything?
  7. Cheek weld with a folding stock on a semi-automatic shotgun? You guys are killing me.
  8. A friend of mine has one with that stiff spring like yours. He ended up cutting off a half-coil.
  9. AMEN! That's true, but, deep down, I know I have the right to have one, even if someone has passed an unjust law. It causes quite a bit of cognitive dissonance when jumping on somebody that wants to have one, too. You can have one. You just have to spend a lot of money and fill out a lot of paperwork tnen wait about 6 months to get the go ahead. I would love to be able to do my own conversion or buy a brand new 2007 model select fire weapon however, the law is against it now. I made that remark because I don't want to lose the rights I have because of someone else's actions.
  10. Most importantly, it's not at all hard to make things able to fire full-auto. The hard part is making it STOP firing when you let off the trigger.
