  1. I wonder how much longer till it gets released, this money in my pocket is really starting to burn
  2. Legal select-fire trigger, BATF approved, 5.56 up…: I've heard of a "burst fire" mode where the the rifle fires when the trigger is pulled and released
  3. http://books.google.com/books?id=pao8AAAAIAAJ&pg=PA45&lpg=PA45&dq=lancaster+elliptical+barrel&source=bl&ots=mWwcrSIrr_&sig=HVcFXY9SYL_NT32PLfjX30yq7vU&hl=en&sa=X&ei=vyAqVKmFE8KqyAS_44LIAQ&ved=0CDMQ6AEwBg This is another reference. With an elliptical barrel it's still a smooth bore but it's a very very slight elipse with the wider part only .005 inches in difference to the shorter width. Apparently it's still just enough to put twist on a round. Very creative old school tech.
  4. Are you sure they aren't those barrels? It's advertised all over the place
  5. So kind of what it's getting at is Mr.Lancaster desinged the bore has a slight elliptical (eye ball) shape that twists 1/4 of a turn down the barrel. Doesn't seem like much, but I guess it can't hurt. I wonder how close of a copy the Saiga is to Mr.Lancaster's design.
  6. The Izshmash/Kalashnikov Concern/Baikal advertise that their shotguns have a Lancaster style elliptical barrel. Which puts a twist on slug rounds. Anybody have any concrete proof this is true or how much spin it puts on a slug round?
