The trigger linkage is just that, there is a little play in that assembly, but the trigger pull is no heavier in my opinion. The whole assembly has some beef to it. I don't have scales to weigh it out, but it's a 12 gauge HD gun for 00 buck, a little heft won't hurt the operation. I installed a flashlight on the side rail last night. I'm new to the forum and to the Saiga 12 shotgun. After I purchased an unconverted Saiga 12 a few weeks ago, I have since learned about your forum and started reading upon everyone's experience. My take away from the forum so far: it is a great shotgun that needs a little TLC initially. A great wealth of knowledge and helpful folks on this forum.
