saiga 12 cycle functionality with 10 inch barrel

Thanks for your help on my question -
I am considering converting my saiga 12 to a SBR on an ATF form 1. My desired barrel length is 9 to 10 inches. The gas system has an upgraded CSS piston. Will it still cycle reliably at this length barrel? Thank you for any input on this issue.
