I just finished doing the conversion and I'm not sure if I missed something. I have the tromix conversion from CSS. The new disconnector spring IS in there. It will lock back manually with my fingers but not when I rack the bolt carrier.

I see some really nice gun safe lighting kits online but they are outrageously priced. I want to get some LED strip lighting and hook up a motion sensor with timers, thats only about $40 compared to $150+ online. I have the idea figured out how I want to do it (see diagram) but I'm not sure where I would tie in the motion sensor. I could probably just get 2 and keep it all separate like how the wiring is before it in the circuit but one would be nice. I have 2 separate timers so I can automatically have red light at night and have white light during the day. I'm also not sure if I

I got the tromix diy basic kit from CSS and I picked up the slidefire ssak-47 hybrid. i dropped it off to a local gunsmith and he called me to say he doesnt think they are compatible because the trigger guard blocks the slidefire grip. I'm no expert but to me it looks like the groove in the grip is so it can glide over that rectangle grip bolt mount. What do you guys think? In the meantime I need to try to find a good gunsmith.

Sorry it seams the search option on the forums doesn't work too well. But I found some threads on this site though google, I'll try a few things I read on those. Thanks

I just recently got my S12. It shot low brass extremely well right out of the box (gas setting 2) with no FTE. I put my chaos titan extended rail on and it FTE's every single round. I see there's a small port on the left side of the gas block that's covered by the rail. Would this have anything to do with it? If that's the case, do I just need to drill the rail to match up with the port? I did the paperclip in the port hole check. There's 3 holes, all accessible with the paperclip in a 45 degree angle.

Is that all I need to be able to mount a pistol grip? CSS says retaining plates sold separately.. what is that for?

That's what I was looking for. So once I do the FCG conversion, will any AR style stock work then?
-
Thanks for all the tips. I do plan on testing it out of the box before I do any mods, but I would like to get some non-mechanical mods on order such as the stock and rear pistol grip. The foregrip will be mounted on the lower picatanny that comes on the chaos titan heres the chaos titan The stock and rear grip I like is from this site (http://www.saiga-12.com/proddetail.asp?prod=KLT004) and it says for "unmodified" saigas. The only conversion I have read about is the FCG mod.

I've shot a fury 2 so I'm kind of familiar with how to adjust the gas adjustments. I'm more concerned on how to customize it and what fittings will be required.

I just ordered the IZ109 and the chaos Titan rail. I'm new to the saiga scene but I know I want the following.. Foregrip Aftermarket stock Slide fire stock Shroud Muzzle brake 20 round drum 12 round ak style magazine Am I looking at a lot of fitting for these? Also what specifically designates the "conversion"? Is it just the trigger assembly? Also I read somewhere you can only have so many aftermarket parts, is that true? Like I said I'm new to this so please fill me in on what info I need to get this all done.
