  1. That BHO spring was a pain in the ass for me too. It went flying a couple of times while I was trying to install it, John
  2. Spent the afternoon converting my Saiga 12 today. It took a few hours- I spent a lot of time following Youtube vids to make sure I didn't screw anything up. I went with the CSS trigger guard and trigger group, MFT Engage pistol grip, Tapco standard AK buttstock and metal barrel thread ptotector. It went pretty smoothly, except for that pain in the ass BHO spring. One thing I have to pass on is that Dupli-color part # DE1634 Low Gloss Black engine paint is a PERFECT match to the original Saiga paint.. I didn't have to do any masking at all- Just hit it with wax & grease remove and spray
  3. Great site- So much information here! My 1st post here. I just picked up my Saiga 12 from a local gunshop last Friday. Walked in to buy a .22 rifle, and came out with this. It's stock and unconverted, and from what I understand was made in 2012. Got it for $750, extra mags included. I cant see any evidence that it has ever been fired. I have a conversion kit coming from CSS for the conversion. Going to be a plain jane conversion at 1st- I might tacticool it out later. Looking forward to learning and looking at a lot of great Saigas! John
