  4. You have the wrong weapon platform if you don't want to "screw around with...fit/fix". There are many magazines for the AR that are cheaper and fit RRA, DPMS, Colt, Bushmaster and so on. They however are not 12 ga. and this appears to be the only game in town if you want a mag fed 12 ga semi-auto. Knowing that, you accept that these are made in Russia and the tolerances were designed to need the fitting of every mag. If you understand how things are and choose to be unhappy there is no further help available. Read what Mike of MD Arms has to say about fitting. More study might be in orde
  5. Nicely done Tony. I wish you were making those when I bought my Tromix. That rail is way slicker than the side mount one I had to cut down to get to work with my HK rear sight.
  6. Still for sale?if so I might be able to break the cash loose Karl It is sold pending funds. I just gotta get to the bank.
  7. Ill be at the bar watching the NFL game because I don't have the stupid NFL network, so a couple hours works for me.
  8. The Tromix Sharke Brake is pretty sharp. It will tear some flesh if you stab someone with it. However it doesn't snag on anything as long as you keep control of your gun. I keep mine on a 3 point sling and I don't tear stuff up. It does look very aggressive.
  9. Do you have any more pictures of the FAL? I'm definately interested.
  10. The drums aren't standard issue with the S-12, but they should be. <----still needs one

    where to buy

I got my s-12 from atlanticfirarms.com when I was living in Cincinnati. They shipped it to Targetworld which was my local range and dealer.
  12. The rear sight was welded on by Tony. Thanks for all the compliments guys, this has been a work in progress for about a year now and I am extremely happy with the results. I did forget to add them to the pictures thread. I will have to do that after I get back from the range today. Edit: I forgot there is an extended mag release on it now also that is not shown in the pics.

  14. So I think my S-12 is finished for a while, at least until a LRBHO comes out. Its originally a Tromix conversion, but I keep adding more goodies. The optic is a Burris Fastfire with a 4 MOA. I had to cut down the back of the rail off in order to get it to fit with the HK sights. If the optic ever fails all i have to do is turn on screw to get it off and I can still use my HK sights without having to remove the rail. To get the rail off you have to take the stock off due to the folding mechanism getting in the way. The flashlight is a Surefire G2. The sling is a universal 3-point from Che
