  1. Hey saiga shooters, I finally bought a .410 for my boys and I to play with. The gun is jamming and I think it may be the ammo. I bought rem. and federal both 2.5 I think I may need 3 in. . the rounds are sometimes getting jammed upon loading. It seems the 2.5 are too short. what do ya think yall!
  2. Hey there- I am not familiar with the ak74 But Ido know that My romanian ak47 piston is about an inch different in length than my saiga I have never tried to use the romanian bolt carrier / piston in my saiga
  3. You don't have to remove the bolt hold. Before you take the trigger out look real close how it is in place and put it back in the same way.
  4. I was at an NRA ccw refresher shoot sat. last week. I took my "dirty, cheap, butt ugly" highpoint .45 along for the ride. I have not field stripped the hipoint for quite some time and it has sat around in the safe getting all dirty , yet, it preformed just fine. I have changed my mind, the more I think about it. I don't think the hipoint is very ugly at all and I don't care if it is a cheap gun(look at AK's). the hipoint reminds me of my AK's in that it is a simple loose action gun with little to go wrong. If you can shoot an automatic around 200 times or so consecutively with no malfunction
  5. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/miva/merc...t_Code=LW_PKG02 check these out they work on mine and seem to be the best deal out
  6. Are you looking for mags that don't need any modification?
  7. I am no expert either, yet, I disagree with you. I don't believe you have to field strip your guns every time or all the time to clean them. I do agree that the highpoint pistols are fat and ugly and I would never trust my life with it outside the house cause I don't carry nothin' big enough to hide it in! And yes you DO get what you pay for. I got a cheap handgun that is huge and fun for me and my boy to shoot every once in a while. Certainly should you stick to your Kimber as I to my taurus pt145. P.S. Gunscrubber; solvent/degreaser/action cleaner, great stuff!
  8. Short, easy to move around. I just thought it looked cooler. Dodn't think I was going to shoot it far enough for barrel length to matter. Oh yeah, I had to call around to find one in stock and Mine was the last one from mackinaw bridge to midland, MI.(all of northern MI.)
  9. Oh yeeeeah! you had us all fooled the whole time as you can see from all the posts! flippin' retard
  10. Careful what you type GENTLEMEN remember we are under "ATF man surveillance" He's crackin' down on all us bad guys and gonna get us off the streets!
  11. Thanks tengu- I have a long way togo. It sure is nice to gather information from others with the same interests and sometimes more or different knowledge.
  12. What did everyone do to be"placed under surveillance". If you paid any attention to the topics on this website you would see that all that is discussed are issues to keep us within the legal limits with our weapons. If you keep it up we may tell your MOM and DAD and your the one who is going to be in trouble Sorry guys but the troll seems hungry
  13. I know, I was hesitant! I didn't know what a set like that goes for, it wasn't very descriptive and the seller didn't email me back with answers to my questions. I didn't want to buy and find out after shipping that I could have got it new somewhere else for close to the same price. It's OK ,I just started aquiring parts to build a amd-65. Sooo, I am not going to use that type of stock. I do like those saw pistolgrips that blackjack has on his site though! Do you happen to know where I can get a muzzle break to make the 12.6" barrel legal. Thanks
  14. Are custom stocks like those for the ruger 10/22 available for savage autoloaders?
