  1. Hrm. Thanks for the info. However, I have a line on an affordable 7.62X39, so may go that way for now. I assume you can easily modify the Saiga 7.62SX39 to take standard AK mags? WYK If you don't mind adding a bullet guide (see dinzag ;>), the Weigers are apparently available in the 'bullet-guide-required' form here, for $25.99: http://www.tickbitesupply.com/davids1.html Look for the "East German AK223 new mags" about half-way down the page. If you are going to buy more than one or two mags, I would recommend that you consider installing a bullet guide, so you can
  2. BTW, I looked at the groups on the target and the box. Did you notice all the vertical stringing? You may want to take a little more time between shots to allow the barrel to cool, and make sure there is as little pressure on the barrel and forearm as possible. WYK
  3. Thanks for the info. I am considering ordering one with the built in weaver mounts so I can move it from weapon to weapon. WYK
  4. I am looking at their scoeps, and very interested in this one: http://eastwave.ca/products/scopes/posp8x42w.html Obliged, WYK
  5. Thanks for the info. So is there a good source for these? I assume you play a bit with them to get em to fit? WYK
  6. Uh..this is the 223 forum... Got a Saiga 223 mag link for me? WYK Rusmilitary.com The one that says "7.62x39 Saiga magazine." The item below the RPK mag and above the Bakelite mag.
  7. The Ak 101 mags specifically? WYK Rusmilitary.com
  8. Wow, so I assume it fits with no mods? Where can ya get those? WYK
  9. What confuses me is why she puts up with those suppressors. They obviously are defective - look at all the muzzle flash. WYK So she can flex her sexy little abbs for the camera! DUH! (I was thinking the same thing.)
  10. No, on the top. The 223. Or is it an AR mag? WYK In the SKS? Standard detachable 30-rounder. Not sure on the manufacture, though, if that's what you're asking.
  11. I use Lapua brass, culled by weight, for my bolt actions. If it's gonna ding em, I'll be looking for a different type of brass to use for reloading. So who has the best price on a skeleton stocked 308 right now? WYK
  12. Is that a mini 14 or Norinco mag? What od you need to do to get it to work? WYK
  13. When he states heavier barrel in that article, he means thicker, not just longer. A thicker(walled) barrel will absorb more heat and vibrate less, and have less harmonics. The longer the barrel for a given diameter, the less rigid it is, and more likely to vibrate. WYK
  14. Drop in as in it works without relocating the trigger group? WYK
  15. Reloader 15 is one of the best powders for 308. It's accurate and consistant. So how does the Saiga 308 treat the brass? Is it easy to reload it, or does it rough em up some? WYK
