not particularly, but if you wanted to install a red dot/scope mount it would be good. the irons are pretty high on an S12 as is. if it's too high, you can always sand it down. easier to remove wood than add it.

... that said, i keep hearing that approx. 70% of the country is against the war and wants to bring the troops home. because of nonstop media brain-bashing on the issue, a good chunk of them will probably be one-issue voters in the upcoming election. the only republican any of them would consider voting for is Ron Paul. so - practically speaking, if you don't want a Democrat in office come 2008 you'd better go register Republican and vote for RP in the upcoming primaries.
