There was a non-magwell version that had a LRBHO. It required special rock and lock mags.

Just got 7 of the 5 round mags. All had the flat follower. Will somebody post a picture showing the difference between the old and new mags?

You need special rock and lock mags or modified ones. Otherwise....problems.

Thanks for the explanation, but not sure why your 5 rounder works without mods. Did you test the LRBHO? If it does, with the price of the factory saiga mags, sounds like i should install a vepr mag catch or modify the saiga mag catch. Any idea where I can purchase an extra?

I wonder if Firebird Precision will sell the nuts individually. The stock one sucks and I hate the built on sling holder. If he doesnt, it would be a definite moneymaker at the right price.

Can you add just a small rail on the bottom? Preferably upfront?

Looks awesome. Have you thought about cutting a valley in the center of the rail to match the factory rail on the MKA-1919?

Hi Tony. I have one of your 12" Saigas that I bought from you years ago. Is the Tromix Bolt Carrier Extension something mine didnt come with? Does this part install without any modifications? Is it worth adding? Thanks!
