  1. oh freaking A that is sweeet. I cannot wait for my rifle one to come in. Been ordered for months now. Clark and Queen, thanks for the pics guys.
  2. Are they a brass cased and reloadable like I read somewhere else? Edit: Nevermind...google proved to be my friend on this one. From sportsmans guide: "Berdan-primed full metal jacket Ammo with a laquered-steel case. Non-reloadable, non-corrosive. Muzzle Velocity: 2,396 F.P.S. Muzzle Energy: 1,597 ft.-lbs. "
  3. The only problem that I can see about that exact piece is that it is apparantly designed for a 5.56 AR and is not bored for a 7.62, nor will it be threaded in the standard M14 X 1 LH which will mean your front end would be "out of spec" in regards to muzzle options down the line. The YHM-28-AK1 and the YHM-28-AK2 will use the standard thread pattern. check out these two videos for a bit of a comparison. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pc1hUl7oZ4s
  4. The only issue I had with my home conversion is that I only had one rifle to do... Gonna have to get another
  5. Thanks for the update Scott. This is a blessing for the NY and NJ guys that are on here.
  6. ...strange. Ill have to give them a ring tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up Sicktooth
  7. I love my ACE folder and I know that it was worth every penny!!!
  8. I have an adapter kit for the 20rd 5.7 pistol mags to make them 30rd's, and i paid $17.25 a box of 50rd's at the charlotte gun show. $18 is not bad at all. Most dealers around here are or atleast were the last time i checked getting about 30 a box.
  9. 22 I cannot wait to see that thing when its done. Congrats BRO!
  10. http://www.copesdistributing.net/product_i...roducts_id=1097 TROY ARMS AR-57 upper drops on a standard AR-15 lower and converts your gun to shoot the FNH 5.7x28 cartridge using FN-P90 50 round magazines. First ever, revolutionary top load bottom eject system sends the spent brass straight down through the AR magwell. Designed with reliability as its primary feature. There is no gas system to become clogged with carbon or fouling and maintenance is a snap. The bolt and chamber stay clean through extended shooting sessions. The rails are precisely milled from a monolithic block of aircraft g
  11. I recently saw an AR15 upper for that round. The upper ejects the brass through the magwell of the lower receiver and uses the 50 round rifle mags.... Just figured I would mention it. If that ammo wasn't so pricey I might consider picking one up for that stripped AR lower Ive got. Nice buy though, have fun with your new pistol.
  12. Ive got a Gamo Hunter Sport, break barrel, that I use around the house here. It came with a 3-9x40 scope and it has a two stage adjustable trigger and a very nice hardwood stock. They advertise the rifle at 1200fps with the PBA ammo but to be honest it doesn't group worth a shit. I stick with my trusty ole gamo hunter ammo for everything from plinking to hunting. At 50 yards it will flip a ground squirrel right over with a one-shot clean kill. The biggest piece of advice that I can give with airguns, especially the spring powered break barrels is that they are extremely hold sensitive!! Th
  13. And as far as I can tell that is not a straight cut stamped receiver but an angled, maybe radius cut.... can anyone confirm? I know that you can get wood from Ironwood Designs for an angled cut receiver, but in general are stocks commonly available for this?
  14. And that right there is the reason that I have personally been looking for a coach gun. The day I saw that pic I knew I had one in my future.
  15. They are not taking money up front and will not be charging your credit card until the part actually ships
  16. Update from GilbertsGuns Blog:
  17. What had been noted as a better solution is the railed gas tube from Ultimak. Check it. http://www.ultimak.com/BuyAK.htm
  18. Thanks for the reply Scott. It is nice to see you on here and getting the word out. Amen on the machine shop though....every order they get is always a "priority" order for someone. Ive got a shop engine shop down the street and they run a dyno too. Man, that place is always hopping and there are always guys looking to get some time in there
  19. Nope. It's not a "counted" 922r part . Use any kind ya like. Also, you'd be fine with the regular 10 round factory mag. And you would be fine with the original gas tube.
  20. Yeah, I have one for an ergo grip that I have. The adapter works well and does not leave any gaps between either the receiver, the trigger guard or the grip. It is not a bad buy if you have an AR grip that you just have to use.
  21. No targets were submitted by last night's deadline. No scores can be posted.

  23. No, it is a muzzle brake and here is the way that Bob Ash so very well explained it to me. A muzzle brake has slots that are perpendicular to the barrel. A flash hider has slots that are parallel to the barrel. Muzzle Brake Flash Hider
