  1. 5.56 is the better choice for urban use in my opinion. 5.56 has better wounding performance within 150 yards than 7.62x39 and is also much less dangerous after penetrating a couple of layers of drywall. 7.62x39 is much better at penetrating concrete block and retains most of it's wounding potential after penetrating typical building material. This makes 7.62 much more dangerous to my neighbors than 5.56 is in the event I miss my target. I don't find the long range accuracy advantage of 5.56 over 7.62x39 to be of any real import however. Once velocity drops below 2700 FPS you lose the f

    Bosnian Ammo

Has anybody got any experiance using Bosnian produced 5.56 ammo in their Saiga? I have read conflicting reviews on this ammo. Supposedly the M855 ammo is slightly underloaded (12 FPS to slow) for NATO spec. I has also read reviews of issues with FTE issues with AR's (tight chamber perhaps)? Anyway, this seems to be the best deal available for anything close to MilSpec 5.56 ammo, but I would hate to pick up a case only to find out it doesn't work well in a Saiga. Thanks
  3. I'll take the .556 mag if it is still available.
  4. Just out of curiosity will these mag work without modification (to mags or rifle) in the Saiga .223 rifle?
  5. I am looking to pick up a couple of 10 round mag for my .223 Saiga. Upgrading you rifle to 922R and don't need your old mag? Let me take it off your hands.
  6. I just bought a Saiga .223 today and was wondering about spare mags. I understand I have to replace a number of part to legally use high-cap mags. How about 10 round mags? What is the best value in 10 round cap mags that are legal to use in an unmodified Saiga?
