Sorry, in many years of using one on duty I never saw a need to rapidly reach that part without moving my hand from the grip. Apparently no one else has had to either... For what it is worth, a pistol grip stock will move your finger closer. Good Luck!

So you're saying he should have said "title II" and not "class 3"? While the term "Class 3" firearm is a legal misnomer, it is near universially understood, which is the whole purpose of language. It has been used since before the rec.guns Newgroup days, which L O N G precedes this website! So call it "Class 3" if you like and ignore little people that need to try to correct you. If you take the time to ask you will find that many of these folks only know what they have read and don't even own a "Class 3" or "Title II" item!
