  1. Wow, ok that'll definitely explain the price then!
  2. So I got a standard factory cofniguration S-12 a couple months ago and I'd like to customize it a bit. Would be nice to put one of those Tromix shark brakes and a quad rail hand guard. I was kind of surprised how expensive the hand guard is, that's like 3/4 the cost of my shotgun! It's just some polymer molded piece right? With that handrail I'd be able to mount a front vertical grip and a flashlight/laser pointer no problem right? Unfortunately since I live in NY I cannot PG my shotgun or give it a folding stock
  3. I would like to buy a recoil pad for my Saiga, something that slips on would be fine. I just dont know what brands/models out there would fit my stock (the factory default stock) what do you use?
  4. Yes I can see it now: Edwards was seated in his luxurious private jet flying overhead as news of the tragedy broke. "Ah", Edwards said as he smiled himself. "Now I can include this into my speech and make myself seem like a real compassionate man. And I can play on everyone's emotions to demonize guns even more. I'm sure to get more votes now!".
  5. Well if anything I wouldn't mind if they made some stricter restrictions to selling firearms to non-US citizens. It makes perfect sense to me. But unfortunately they will probably push through another AWB pertaining to semi auto rifles and other weapons like maybe .50BMG which have nothing to do with this incident. Just goes to show how these lawmakers take advantage of these situations to further their political agendas
  6. Has anyone tried contacting this guy outside of the forum to see if this offer might actually go anywhere? I'm thinking about calling the number on their website or something
  7. Do you know if that design makes it easier to clip mags into the receiver than it is currently?
  8. looks really cool, is that magazine well and the rails on top part of the receiver or something that can be modified to any saiga receiver?
  9. --> QUOTE(Michael B @ Apr 9 2007, 11:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Welcom Darkside! That baby will get even more fun when you run a 10 rounder with it! Not sure how long the shark brakes are, as we should get them in this week. Oregon is pretty good about unretrictive guns. I believe it's federal law that states only law enforcment may have less that 18 inch barrel Hope ya get to shoot soon! Oh I am not so sure I can buy the 10 rounders being a resident of New York... or even the 8 rounders. I'll have to ask around
  10. yeah that's funny, I was imagining I need to be the Terminator to properly annihilate it. Is that inhibitor paper really that toxic? what's it made of- paper from trees harvested near Chernobyl?
  11. As I was reading the manual that came with my saiga I noticed a part that talked about how you should avoid doing dry shots. I thought maybe this was pulling the trigger with no shell in the cartridge, but then later it talks about proper unloading procedure and in its list of steps after you remove the magazine and shell from cartridge it says pull the trigger. Kinda confusing me now
  12. How long is the shark brake? Is that 18" minimum some kind of federal law? I didn't think Oregon had some of the stricter gun laws
  13. aye, thanks for your help. I got the pieces back in and the mag works perfectly. I was getting worried there so I'm real glad it's just an intentional spacer.
