One thing I've never understood is when people go onto a forum and think it's a good idea to argue with the Mods. I haven't found that to be the case on any forum I've been on. Yet you're still here. All I guess I would add to this is pack everything like a truck will run over it cause it will look like it did when it reaches its destination a lot of the time. And something many won't want to hear but all carriers suck! OK, I've had it for a week. I really like this. I've still had 3 cigs a day but that's better than 20 and a heck of a lot cheaper. One thing I really didn't think would happen but maybe will is my Mom wants to try it. I let her use my backup but she said it was too strong. I know how to fix that but she also said it was a little on the sweet side (she really has issues when anything sweet. She thinks canned corn is way too sweet) So...does anyone know of any type of juice that is not sweet? She smokes better than 4 packs a day and if I could get her to replace even 1 or 2 of those pack

I'm thinking this thing is a keeper. I've had it one day and only smoked 5 cigarettes. That's way better than the 20 or so that I usually smoke. I can't smoke the e-cig first thing it the morning. Believe it or not, it's too harsh. Thinking now I might try some 'flavors'. The 'regular' tastes kinda funny. Could just be that it's still new. I really thought there would be more people on here that have used them..... Thanks everyone for the help and advice!

Well, I have my e-cig. I'm pretty happy with it so far. I'm looking forward to taking it out and seeing where I can use it without people going ballistic. I will report back after I've had a little time to see how it goes. But, so far, so good.

Well, I ordered mine. Got an email saying they got my order. About 2 hours later I got an email saying my order was 'processed'. 2 hours later I got an email that my order had shipped. It's in Raleigh now and I expect I may get it tomorrow. I will let everyone know how it goes after it gets a full charge and I try it. Like I said, I've smoked most of my life so we shall see.

Since you said he dropped down to 2, is it fair to assume he is still smoking that many? Just curious. Right now, I'm paying $33.99 for a carton. My cigs (Marlboro Medium/Red Label 100'2) are usually $43.99 (last time I bought them) but there was some confusion and the cashier grabbed the Special Blend 100's. I was getting ready to tell her she grabbed the wrong ones when I saw them ring up that much lower. They are pretty close to what I was smoking so I'll take the $10 less. It would be nice to cut that cost in half if not get rid of it all together.

That they have made a 'new and improved' version. Does it sound the same? It does seem a little more cigar sized rather than cig size but I reckon I can get over that if it last longer. I smoke about a pack a day and would like one that keeps a charge for at least a day.

I'm thinking about trying these and was curious if anyone had already and what they thought. I kinda like the idea of being able to feel like I'm still smoking without dealing with the actual smoke.

If you want to know what not to do so that you aren't banned I would suggest you heed the warnings from the mods. Too many on here think they are 'throwing their power around' without understanding that all they are doing is enforcing MAX'S rules. HE sets them, not the mods. You don't have to like the rules here. You just have to obey them.

The class I took dealt mostly with the law. The handbook and forms seem to imply NC sees those as the most important thing. We spent about 6 hours watching movies and having discussions. He wanted to be sure when we left that we knew the laws in this state. Then we went out to the range. Had to load and shoot 5 rounds from 3 yards. They were timed. We had to do that again. In NC, if you are under the influence and are carrying, you lose your permit. Period. If I were in a bar but not drinking, I would still want to have the right to protect myself. If you are in your home and it's invaded while you've been drinking, you are allowed to use deadly force. I've taken the class to get my carry permit but right now can't really afford to do anything else. PLUS, and it's a big plus, I haven't really practiced much with handguns. I mostly familiar with long guns and want to get a lot more range time with handguns before I even consider carrying concealed. I personally would advise anyone that owes a gun to take the class so they can learn the laws in their state on when they can use it.
