  1. All of you are idiots... Pistols are worthless! ANYWAY... I don't know why people insist in reading on " this gun is better than that gun", or "this caliber is better than that caliber". I personally carry for the occasion. All three calibers have their good and bad points. The trick is finding the right round in each caliber for you. Get about 10 handguns for each caliber and sit back and watch all the blather on "why my gun is the best" while you laugh! On the Glock issue... I don't own one. Do I think they are junk? Nope. It goes to one reason only.
  2. I'm not sure. looked like some kinda putty material. In the vid he posted of it on youtube he said, "the gas chamber has been cleaned out and miked." All I can say is that the plug did not fit tightly after cleaning the material out of it when I was checking the number of ports. I tried Teflon tape but it would blow that out on the first round! I then put a rubberized putty material on it and it again ate the cheap Universal ammo as it did when I got it. I didn't think to try some graphite paste I had until after it was sold. I found the stick of paste in some gear from my deployment. It
  3. The gun I just sold on this site would run Winchester Universal 8 from wally world with NO FAILURE. The KEY to it doing it on this gun was that the previous owner used something on the threads of the plug to keep gas from escaping around the plug. When I pulled it apart and cleaned it then reinstalled it WOULD NOT fire the Universal. No port work. Bolt was only cleaned up. not shaped or polished. Stock plug. Stock "hockey puck". After doing a little bit of work to it I redid his sealing of the plug and again had a cheap ammo eater without even the slightest sign of distaste.U
  4. They are if the part count is right with mag installed... My Saiga 20 is 922r compliant with factory mag installed.
  5. Just figured I'd throw a post on here. The gun I just sold on this site would run Winchester Universal 8 from wally world with NO FAILURE. The KEY to it doing it on this gun was that the previous owner used something on the threads of the plug to keep gas from escaping around the plug. When I pulled it apart and cleaned it then reinstalled it WOULD NOT fire the Universal clean. No port work. Bolt was only cleaned up. not shaped or polished. Stock plug. Stock "hockey puck". After doing a little bit of work to it I redid his sealing of the plug and again had a cheap ammo eater without even the s
  6. Great... If they turn out well don't be afraid to kick out some 3 inch 10 rounders! Until you do that I will have to keep looking at SASS uppers and other parts for my DPMS. I'll be watching and waiting.
  7. I am selling my 12 right now so my first, and only, remaining Saiga for the moment is my Tromix 20. It sits patiently awaiting the fruit of your hard work! Unlike other toys it will stay in the gun safe for the long haul so I'd like some long lasting reliable magazines to go with it. Feel free to send some to me to test in the future! I am in the market right now for someone who has the ability to build me a rifled barrel for it... I can't think of anything better than metal mags full of slugs!
  8. Yeah I know... I have 10 of them. I'd love to REPLACE them with 10 double stack 10 rounders for the reason I stated... SHORTER IS BETTER!
  9. I'd still like to hear, if nothing else, a capacity... I'd be all about a double stack 10 rounder! 10 rounds per mag is enough for me but shorter means I will be less likely to hang up on something while running from the zombies!
  10. Some sellers are Pawn Shops. Others are not. Can you purchase a gun that has been stolen at a show? Yes. Can you purchase a gun at Cabela's that has been stolen? YES! Sadly this is one area that is lacking in the firearm industry. It would be nice if there was a database set up that ALL stolen firearms serial numbers are submitted. FFL's require the sellers information but are not required to verify if the gun's are reported stolen. I hear that some, if not all, PAWN SHOPS usually are visited by local police regularly to check all incoming serial numbers? The method my father uses whe
  11. I agree with those above... My Tromix 20 wants an 8 round mag! For that matter, if you do get these going why not go ahead and make a 10 round too? I am thinking of getting one of the 13 rd mags but it is just a bit to long for my liking. I also don't care for the clear. Metal 8 and 10 rounders (a few 5 rounders too!) would be my mag of choice!
