  1. The way I fixed this issue was to weld a "fence" on the right side of my trigger to hold the spring over. In my case the spring leg was sliding over and wedging under the disconnector.
  2. As and FYI, WAKAL posted on the Brian Enos Forum that the G3 AR lower will allow a smoothed Surefire magazine to fit its magwell...That is not saying it would be compatible with the system but there is a good chance it might with the right coaxing.
  3. Same thing happened to me in competition once and the cover rolled downward and wedged between the hammer preventing the gun from firing. It is just a spot weld holding the ring to the plate. The part is not needed for function and for my competition guns I automatically remove them. I personally would just take it to a radiator repair shop and let one of them mig or tig weld it for a couple of dollars. The replacement you get MAY end up doing the same thing after some shooting. It MAY not, but you've seen it happen once.....
  4. I'll flame you before anyone else does in a meaner way....Your Saiga and everyone else in the US.....barring they do not have one of the old Jeric designed LRBHO, one of Cobra's LRBHO (someday available), or another homemade LRBHO are all in the same boat. Since you are a member, then, within a section, you can use the search option and search any of the following words and find a world of information. You are new to the forum so WELCOME!!! LRBHO Jeric Warfied Armory I am sure there are others but these will provide the most info.
  5. I use an Ergo Suregrip on both my AR and Saiga. Comfortable and covered in a rubber outer to keep your hand from slipping. They offer the same style for both AR and AK so you can have the same grip on both.
  6. Yes it is the Remington marked stock. It would be a couple days before I can get pics up. It has the logo on the gipe and LEO on the stock.

  10. The zombie stage would be great except for one HUGE problem.....having to change targets after each shooter would be a nightmare!!!!!
  11. Depending on the DISTANCE you have to shoot for these slug targets then what I would do is use a "low recoil" slug made by pretty much all the manufacturers. Around my area the most common is the Remington model. They are great out to 50-60 yards and then depending on your gun they may be good out to 100 yards. Also keep in mind the quantity of rounds you have to shoot. 1-2 high power slugs in a stage SHOULD NOT cause any problems. I shot a match last year with slug targets no less than 60 yards away and up to 128 yards. I used full power Remy Sluggers and never missed. The biggest stag
  12. FINAL PRICE DROP $1550 FOR JUST THE GUN WITH WEAVER MOUNT AND SLIDE RACKER. IF THE GUN SELLS I WILL SPLIT UP THE REST.
  13. I never thought I would do this, but priorties, needs, and situations change. This is truly a one of a kind gun since it is the only one in existence!!! CZ SPO1-coverted to "Open" by Mike Eagleshied and Chris Johns at CZ USA CZ Factory Comp from Champion CZ Match Barrel CZ full length guide rod CZ Thin Aluminum Grips CZ Aluminum Magwell CZ SA trigger adjusted to less than 2 lbs CZ Competition Hammer CZ Ambi safeties-left side safety has been extended to leave a thumbrest CZ Factory Weaver scope mount 2-factory 26 round magazines 2-factory 19 round SPO1 magazines with CPMI +2 alu
  14. PRICE???????? I can also afford 3% of $0.00. Hell I will pay shipping on top of that.LOL.
  15. Why can't you just have a little more funds? I am needing money, but my AR upper is considerably more. Sabre Defence 16" stainless fluted with flashhider and mid length gas system, Standard length knurled/fluted free float and a3 upper.......$600. Barrel is almost 5.
  16. Like nailbomb said, it is personal preference, but a fixed stock and folding stocks have limits. With an adjustable you can shorten it to about 6.5" up to full length of like 11" or so. I personally use a tapco t6 and a cheap rubber butt pad on the back. I have used a CAA stock saddle and it was fine but not necessary. In my opinion if money was not an issue then I would like to have a internal receiver block with the folding ar adaptor. Then add the enidine shock stock with a Magpul CTR stock. This would allow 6 length adjustments, folding capabilities, the stock locks in place so it is
  17. Someone will inevitably tell you to do a search....but to give my opinion, the best stock is the 6 position AR type stocks because if a stage requires you to shorten the stock because of small confinements then you have that option. Tunnels have definitely been an advantage with my Saiga!
  18. I agree mostly with what Ronswin posted, but we are NOT always OPEN. Saiga is definitely OPEN in USPSA, but in "Outlaw" matches it is up to the particular match rules to determine what division you shoot. Some are allowing them to be shot in tactical classes provided they are not using optics or compensators. If you plan to compete with your Saiga then a conversion is a must and if you can swing it then add a magazine well and an extended mag release.
  19. I have never shot it but I have several friends who do. I also happen to know the group that runs the shotgun match. Most of the time the pistol match can be shot with any semi auto, but I think you get credit for shooting a "major" power factor gun like a .45 auto. The shotgun match is usually a derivative of the pistol match....usually the same targets with different stage procedure. I believe buckshot can be used. I know one year to screw the Saiga they had you start by loading your gun from loose ammo in a drawer. Round counts are usually in the 30 to 40 range. Hope this helps.
  20. No people who buy chinese shit over products made in the USA can, instead of being a douche bag, perhaps you should learn to read the thread. So you are trying to tell us that you "NEVER" buy anything foreign made?!?! Do you own Nike, Addidas, what kind of car, where is your shotgun made? Get real dude! Let people buy what they want and can afford.
  21. The mags once modified for this magwell will NOT work in a stock Saiga, but once you mount this and adjust the magazines for it then you won't want anything else. This magwell allowed me to run my Saiga in a recent 3 gun flawlessly. Not one single malfunction or missed reload. Absolutely perfect!!!
