  1. Here is where I feel that we need to have every Saiga owner(Mike D, Cobra, and anyone else I haven't noticed was missing yet) back on this forum. Yes this is directed to you Bvamp!!!! I sit back and read and usually stay quiet, but now there is a DRUM available and Mike had nothing to do with this one and the guys that built it are not members of or have logged int to this forum at all. It is here, it is available, and people will buy it. When Mike's is available it will sell as well. I live in a state that allows anything under the sun and if the ATF does any reclassifying feel free to c
  2. Like I said I will call tommorow.....I am a newbie as some of you like to put it, but guns are my biggest hobby. I plan to actually lay my hands on this product within a week or so and I will make a post when I do.
  3. I got the same sheet at Knob and stood and talked to the guy. If you go to the sight notice the Patent Pending part and also just to be curious I asked him what the ATF had to say about it. He told me, as of now, it is not being looked at negatively, but if a change were to be made it would be done like a suppressor is to a pistol/rifle. The reason it is as big as it is, from what I remember him saying, is that the center piece rides on a sealed bearing so that if feeds flawlessly and the open design was to cut back on what weight they could. I plan on calling them Monday because these guy
  4. Thanks, Mike, for the backing. The 8 rounders have worked perfect for my competitions so far, and I plan to use them for the most part. I will probably trade 1 8rdr off still just to have 10 in a mag at the start of my IPSC stages. If they change the rules I would definitely love to start a stage with 20 rds, but as of right now they wouldn't be allowed in competition. I am getting ready to tackle my first conversion on my own. I will also keep a lookout for any Saigas around here for you. You saw my Whittaker Guns posting the other day and I am usually in there every other week or so.
  5. My mag is worth twice what the agp is. I received them from M. Davidson in trade about 6 months ago. I understand I am a newbie, but that is the only way I feel comfortable about the deal. Mike knows I am a man of my word, but if you aren"t comfortable then I understand. Thanks for the chance. If you change your mind I can send pictures first. You have my number.
  6. If this is for real you have a deal. My cell is 270-871-6623. Catch is I want to see mag in hands first and I guarantee the mag I send is in perfect shape and working perfectly. You pay for your shipping to me with a postal money order to me for the $50 and I will pay for my shipping to you through UPS with a tracking number. I am in KY. 1 mag only.

    Flashlight

www.commandarms.com makes a few different flashlight mounts and Wal Mart sells a Brinkman 1 inch tube flashlight much like a Surefire for $15 to $20. It will accept pressure pad switches and you can buy in in Xenon or LED. Especially check out Command Arms forward grip flashlight holder that allows you to put the Brinkman or Surefire or their own light and it is very reminiscent of the same effect you get from the $400 Surefire version for less than $60 light and all.
  8. I bought a Docter knock off from eBay and so far I have ran nearly two hundred rounds throught it and it is working flawlessly on my AR. I have it mounted directly on top of a Bushnell 1.5-4.5x20mm scope for IPSC Multi Gun. It has two set screws that after you Zero you tighten. I ran 30 rounds through it dropped a mag and ran 30 more and she makes a nice pattern. Only problem so far is on sunny days it is awful hard to pick up the 4moa dot, but I am going to try a new battery soon and see if that doesn't help. I have a multi gun competition this Sunday and I will see what it does there.
  9. Hey this is a first post but my area gun store has an ass load of Saiga's in stock and he sells over the phone to your ffl. Whittaker Guns in Western Ky www.whittakerguns.com If you call I know I saw a 19" and a 22" in there just the other day. I bought my IZ109 out the door for $385. Of course your shipping will be more, but he should have what you want.
