  1. This rifle has been customized to accept AK mags. Has American Trigger group and U.S. Piston in it. Will take $175.00 The stocks are synthetic origional. It looks the same as a stock Saiga but with AK mags. Excellent condition. alduro@mailcity.com
  2. I have a Saiga with all requisite U.S. parts installed on a 7.62x39 and it will now take any AK high caps. It still sports the Monte Carlo type stocks, I replaced the trigger group and the gas piston. Slap on american followers and your 100%. Its LNIB but I have 2 identical. Am looking to trade for some type of handgun. Considering offers. alduro@mailcity.com
  3. I am glad someone spoke up. I have been noticing some "iffy" stuff here concerning Full Auto 990.....which makes me nervous. I am primarily a lurker here and only once in a while have a post. Great forum though. From what I understand, a non-pistol grip Saiga can take high cap mags with 4 U.S. parts. Either way, Full Auto 990 is a minor, and God help anyone who provides a minor with a firearm and THEY commit a crime with it.
  4. I didn't feel that $40 per mag on a Saiga of which you cannot legally convert to a 30 rounder for a few months yet was a good idea. I would rather have a rifle that is legal now and takes a mag that is cheap and found everywhere, I can't think of anything more available and cheaper than AK mags. Thanks for the links.
  5. I am replacing the gas piston with a U.S. one and the hammer with a U.S. one. I will have the feed ramp professionally done. I am going to install American mag followers and baseplates. This will be the 4 parts. The origional sporter stock set will remain on it. Kind of like a Russian Mini 14. Do you guys know where to get the mag base and followers? The American ones I mean. Thanks.
  6. When are the above pictured stocks gonna be for sale?
  7. I just want to know where the rivet is to go. If I use this bullet guide do I still have to drill into my reciever?
  8. I am looking at the Bulgarian bullet guide offered by K-Var, the one with the rivet. I am wondering, does this rivet mount into the side of the reciever next to the end of the barrel and curve downward? Or am I supposed to drill a hole into my reciever?

I actually LIKE the wood stock....anybody want to sell theirs?
  10. Full Auto....where is that gunshop? I would love to buy a 30 rounder.
  11. heligood.........the AK is designed with MUD in mind. It is a combat rifle designed to function during a Russian thaw, which means a little grit and grime won't hurt it. The AR on the otherhand was designed by the airforce to be a pilot survival rifle, it replaced a .22lr. As far as reliability, I don't think the 2 are in the same ballpark. Of course the same could be said for long range accuracy. To answer your question, I clean it every couple of hundred rounds.
  12. Dude that's exactly what I've been thinking of building...but heck...I would MUCH prefer to buy one in sythetic
  13. Yeah I guess....does that foregrip require a mod to fit the Saiga?
  14. I have seen them before...do you know who has them? Where I might buy one and if AK forgrips fit the Saiga?
