On a hog hunt, I have had them work lose and fall out of an s12 while stalking pigs in the brush, standing there with two halves of your gun isn't exactly ideal, luckly had the trusty pump in the buggy to fall back on. Likely would have never happend at the range, YMMV

Might be hard to find one to call your own, but the g19 is my pic, Hard to beat, you can carry g17 mags with +2, as a spare, and an uzi mag pouch with 3 happy sticks make for a real force to contend with.

G19 never look back, the bit of extra size over the 26 makes it easy to shoot and draw You can use a multitude of different mag configurations and carry a 26 as a bug. Use happy sticks, and you can lay down some serious cover fire My 2 c

I've used a black sharpie to touch up the bottom before paint.A couple coats and to the untrained eye it looks fine. good luck
