    FBMG Mag's

I heard back from FBMG. Looking more like end of July. Some issue with the new follower, new mold, testing. For me, I'd just as soon have 'em get it right than fight with something that doesn't work. 3 US Parts isn't a bad proposition either. Safe Shooting, CZ52'
  3. While the Sporterized Design can be awkward for some, the AK design has it's own set of problems. That being said, I have 3 of 'em, 1 being a converted .308. The Sporterized Design is somewhat of a "neutered" proposition. Similar to a Glock-17 10rd Mag' for me. I'd love a "Dragonov Style" .308, may go do that eventually. I have to agree that $ for $, if your goal is to be a shooter, it's better to focus on go-bang investments in ammo' than accessories or customization. For many of us, we don't have to choose, so we don't. We customize the ergonomics to taste, then we shoot the dicken
  4. I'm working multiple angles. So far: 1) Irons 2) EOTech on Side-rail Weaver Mount (low profile) Future: 1) High profile mount with more conventional rifle-scope (TBD - still researching) Safe Shooting, CZ52'

Thanks for the heads up! Safe shooting, CZ52'
  6. http://www.ergogrips.net/item-detail.cfm?I...FTOKEN=24664687 I used this rail from Falcon Industries, and needed some extended screws to get it through the ridge inside. Good luck, CZ52'
  7. I'm running the Ace with the 1" Pad. I feel no recoil, but I'm fairly recoil "immune", and my 16" has a decent muzzle brake on it also. Good luck, CZ52'

    FBMG Mag's

Hello, I ordered some mag's. Curious if mid-June is still looking good for delivery? Thanks in advance, CZ52'
  9. On some conversions this side-to-side movement could be downright dangerous . . . I used 5/16" OD x 3/16" L (#10 ID) for the left side and a 5/16" OD x 3/8" L (#10 ID) for the right. A little sanding and they hold the trigger rock solid in the center. I ordered PN's 67713032 & 67713156 from MSCDirect.com. For more information see my thread: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=7937. Larry I had similar issues with the G2. Lots of grinding on the Hammer to make it fit, then I used the 3/16" spacer from MSCDirect.com (my G2 came with a "pin sleeve" which allowed me
  10. Thanks Tony, I'll see what my total mag' count is and I might chase down some of those from you. CZ52'
  11. I was wondering about that as a possibility. Thanks, CZ52'
  12. Hello, I was wondering if there a US Maker for Floor Plates for the Factory 8-rd Mag's? I was also curious about Mag' Springs (or a suitable substitute). Thanks in advance, CZ52'
  13. Any chance you sent that load over a Chrony? I'm curious what the velocity difference is between 16" Saiga, and say a 24" .308 bolt gun. Btw, I test fired my newly acquired S-308 last night, brass was fine. The whole trigger group will need to be replaced, but the brass was fine... Safe Shooting, CZ52'
  14. Thanks, I'm not surprised it's a YMMV proposition. I'll give it a try with a box and see how it goes. Thanks again, CZ52'
