Thanks for all the input everybody. I ended up buying it! It'll probably be next weekend or two before I can get to the range to try it out. I like the idea of maybe putting a vert grip on it, but I'm not sure how I'm going to accessorize it yet. I'll have to pattern some loads and see what the kick is.

Does anybody have any experience with buttstockless shotguns for home defense? I'm looking at a Mossberg 500 Cruiser for a possible nightstand gun. It's this gun Mossberg 500 Cruiser , but I won't be buying from there.

A couple months back, wasn't there a post from the keepshooting.com guys who had a "connection" for a massive amount of 5 & 8 rounders that would be priced in the $20 range but it would be a few months to get the order filled. I wonder what ever happened with that?

$409 is a really good price, the empty spot where the S-12 usually sits at my local shop of choice will have it's next visitor at $499 before fees & tax according to the owner.

Robinson Armament Co. used to bring them in until they practically bankrupted themselves with the XCR, they might still have the contract but I haven't seen a Super Vepr in a while.
